For fuck sakes.......you kick him outta here??
Im still waiting on a few full plant pictures, and not the same 3 recycles uber close ups of bud, albinoism, genetically superior, pollen sac's, seed fucked pictures he kept using ☹️
google his grow title you’ll find it elsewhere

Not that im smart enough, but the fella never included the paperwork behind his statements. I know some of the smart guys on here ALWAYS do. I mean I click on it......not big on reading......usually just like to scroll the page as fast as possible and say "Jesus thats a lot of reading" 😁
he couldn’t be further away from “smart”,..
more like mentally unstable

I don’t hear anybody complaining about Chem D’s tendency to variegate! A lot of these old land races were collected 30 or 40 years ago and are no longer available at the source! The only reason they are available now is because some growers perpetuate the strain, usually through open pollination! I think there’s a big difference between preserving a plant as close to original as possible and going out of your way to improve the plant! The way the forest are getting chopped down if it wasn’t for preservationists a lot of these plant species would just fade into extinction! Political turmoil, and the introduction of modern genetics into the gene pool threaten a lot of Landrace strains! Trying to collect beans nowadays in Al-Qaeda country is a good way to fade into extinction yourself! Lol! Just two cents!
Watch Monsanto try to GMO growing regions around the globe. The other front is the breeding of designer strains that further diluted the original strains. One has to really work to get landrace unless they are at the source. An aside an Afghan Collection was offered by seedbanks. That was '19 - '22 and quickly sold out. One non-seedbank company bought directly from the collector here in the US and still offers seeds from many regions there. They are legit and I even spoke to the owner. Damn good breeding stock. What ever happened to weed named for the place they came from?

I go through the land race team, and the real seed company and hope for the best!😁 loaded up for this summer if I can get them to pop! Ha ha!

I wonder if a little Peroxide in the soak water really helps soften the shell In old seeds. I have looked at the companies you mentioned. Glad to see they are a viable source. Thanks!

Ace doesn’t ship to the states! But some of their stuff is carried by banks! Yeah, Khalifa has a few! Real seed company is mainly Asia and Africa! The land race team is a treasure trove! And their creations list has some interesting crosses of land races! But I’m not much for crosses!

And I tried peroxide last year and it didn’t seem to help much! So I guess it’s onto seed mutilation this year! Ha ha

H202 3% diluted 5:1 is used to disinfect the shell during imbibition. What's going to kill them is unclean hands, unclean air, unclean medium, anything that comes into contact with the seed, or embryo. The biggest problem here is mold spores in the air. I've recently watched embryos die shortly after germination becaus of white mold. It's not the only mold threat, but seems to be the biggest one here.

I can still get you that stuff. Those other places mentioned, are not trustworthy at all. At best they may do random pollination runs as the seeds get old. Plus everything they have is sourced after hybridization. If you want the pure, pre 1970 genetics that are in the hands of real breeders who hand select the best examples from hundreds of plants to select thier breeding stock for seeds from landrace and IBL, just send me a private message. It's not something available to the general public, or found in a google search. It shouldn't be. I agree with them totally.

There will be a time when I msg you. Thanks! I'm taking a break and growing Zacatecas Tribute by vermontman. Breeding is two IBLs from 60s and 70s. They make you have to work.

I found that if you can get them out of the seed and up to a couple of nodes, they will grow themselves! All you have to do is stay out of the way! But this is outdoors! They are thrilled to grow in some decent soil, as opposed to the crap they grow in in their homeland! They pretty up real nice!😍

Yeah OC, my style in/out top and let them go.

My sentiments exactly! When I learned back at the start of Columbian era, it was top for four leads and let'em grow. Still my style today, except indoors you have to add LST and a little supercrop.🙃

Sweet! I thought about indoors, but don’t have the temperament for it! And if you live in Cali, you need to take advantage of that! Indoors probably grows better weed from what I’ve seen! But I don’t think you can discount the spirituality and the relationship with mother nature That you get with an outdoor grow! I think there’s more to it than just growing weed! Besides, they seem to like it when I sit out there on a warm summer evening and read them their bedtime story! I can hear the girls giggling! But you have to take what your climate will give!😍 that Z strain sounds like something from Central America or maybe southern Mexico! I’m planning a little south of the border fiesta myself this year! Sinaloa and Jalisco! Arriba! Arriba! Ayeeeeee!🥳😂✌️ it’s all about the journey!

Dang Mr.Old Chucky. You hit it on the head. It’s more than just growing weed. I’m not trying to offend anyone, but an outdoor grow hits all the buttons. Anyone ever seen a hummingbird in their indoor grow? Now I can’t wait to get the garden going. Thank you MOC!

The first two years mother nature and I used to get into knockdown, drag out brawls!😂 decided getting up off of the ground and dusting myself off was getting monotonous! So I looked at her and said, OK I’m ready to listen! The fire in her eyes subsided, and she smiled and said let’s get to work! We’ve been fast friends ever since, and she comes to visit me by sliding down a Sunbeam and we sit and shoot the shit! Haven’t had a problem since! Now wasn’t that romantic! Lol! But it’s a big part of growing! The best part of growing!😍
