Maybe I’m forecasting something you’re not but you’re going to run out of land. Soon. 🤣
That’s fine with us, we’re taking out the play set this year, it’s been discussed, it’ll be a new 15x8 berry patch, next to the 15x15 new berry patch going in, (was where I did zucchini but we didn’t wanna do any this year, so not it will be 3x blueberry plants and 3x Goji Berry plants) and the existing 15x12 raspberry patch (3 kinds of raspberries and 4 patriots blueberry plants)

he 2 beds are there and the play set will be a bed, then there’s 8 fruit trees down that line, the closest tree is a nectarine

Pit stop icking up algicide/fingicicide/mold killer for the logs before I paint those after patching

Top half is new color, we went dark, we’ll see how it turns out 😁 needs a heavy coat been a 5 years since painting last, that’s a long time, just before we bought it, so it’s due. I’ll start a 1 or 2 wall a year regimen after this initial painting

Once painting is done rear deck will be completely replaced and stained same color as the wood, already have 5 gallons of that stain in the truck with me gotta buy the rest of the house paint then decking to do next
Molsons - über fucking drinkable!

Catching some pollen @Thatoneguyyouknow_ how did you say you go about storing this after it gets done dropping?

Ps thanks for the idea for catching the pollen in a cup like that. Way better than my plate idea lmao
ill pour it into a paper envelope making sure i do it indoors in AC when humidity is 50% or lower ideally.

Ill put that paper envelope in a double zipper ziplock and flatten all the air out of it, then put it in the freezer labeled.

itll keep 3-5 years that way. If youre not sure about your humidity levels when sealing it, store it in the fridge dry, and itll still keep about a year or so.

if you got plants flowering indoors right now, mist yourself down with a bit of water before you get back into the grow tents, or at least change your clothes lol. And fwiw most decent hvac filters will catch 90% of the pollen let into the air or more if the filter is already a bit dusty or humidity is above 50%

i tend to work with pollen next to a hepa filter, but sometimes i dont bother, ill just lightly mist myself with some water after. Only ever seen a few unexpected seeds doing this.

Fuck around and find out i guess 😂
Had the same thought the other day when I stuck these zinnias in some dirt.
My neighbor does 100’s of flowers tons of zinnias I was just checking out theirs yesterday actually haha figured I’d get some goin 😁

I mean, I'll throw down on Blues, too, but not where people can see me lol 🤣🤣🤣

But those Canadians give you an extra swiggle in your swagger after several.
I remember a trip to Montreal in my early twenties, went up to St Catherines street and had a good time, we discovered molson strong forte xxx bottles. Put a 12 pack on ice in the hotel sink and binged drank like four or five beers a piece with my girlfriend and my buddy and after 45 minutes of drinking we hit the strip clubs , within an hour we’d been separated from my buddy and the girlfriend and I got kicked out of club supersex after her jacket was stolen from our seats when we used the bathroom. We literally got escorted out of the club down the stairs by people who spoke English right up until there was an issue and then all of a sudden it’s all French. That beer made us rowdy 🤣🤣🤣

You should think about a wildflower patch and possibly bee keeping . Honey bees might out compete the carpenter bees and drive them away. Unless you have a family member who has bee sting allergies, then not worth the risk.

I’ve been fighting my wife for 3 years telling her the neighbors are too close for bees… otherwise we’d be in year 3 hahahaha

Ahh before / after

Goals... I'd rather keep bees than chickens. Berries, too. I'm patiently waiting for our wild blackberries and blueberries to bloom and fruit. Blackberries are already blooming with few blueberry flowers yet.

I’m pretty happy that all of the strawberry plants that I put in the garden are growing again, they made it through the winter even the potted one. I’m thinking about building a net for the bed of them to keep chipmunks out, 1/4 “ chicken wire should work. I think I’ll frame a lid that I can remove with garden ties.

The real surprise is that potted plant didn’t die. No insulation around the roots and definitely had exposure to prolonged single digit temperatures this past winter.
