🚽 Trimmer’s Lament (Ode to Sticky Fingers)

Tried to take a shit, but I ran into strife,
My fingers were stickier than a grower’s love life.
Couldn’t wipe clean, no matter how I tried—
Now I’m stuck here squatting, dignity denied.

Trim jail's real, it’ll break you down slow,
When your whole damn hand’s like a fresh jar of Flo.
Scissors in the sink, hash on the doorknob...
Can’t even touch TP without doin’ a job.

So I shuffle out sideways, pants ‘round my knees,
Lookin' for ISO wipes like they’re the bee’s knees.
Next harvest I swear, I’ll wear gloves like a pro—
But for now, I’m itchin' and smellin' like Chemdog dough. 👊👊

Not bad for a 5 month old mother stuck into a 12 gallon pot, vegged for 3 weeks and flipped

Packed the 3x3 with a beautiful globe

Id be dead for four years as of now. Fuck me, im young, going strong. Fucks with me head
She’s part of the 27 club. Long list of actors and musicians who died before they finished their 27th trip around the sun.
  • Musicians: Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones, Amy Winehouse, and Robert Johnson.

  • Other Artists: Anton Yelchin (actor).
  • I bet there’s more than that too. Sad 😔

i weaned 15 males down to 5 this season. amnd one doesnt count because its a homogenous land race anyway lol. Expecting probably 2 or 3 ill actually run the pollen from, i want to see more expression before i use the early pollen on anything besides making a haymeadow reg f2. The haymeadow i ran last year was a chosen 1 of 4 male phenos. I hunt my males just like i hunt my females.

You gotta hunt through 30-50-80 female plants or more just to see all your phenotypic expression if the plants brought into the F1s werent already stable. that applies to males too

Just wait til you see the structure and symmetry on those fems and regs i sent ya when they get going in veg lmao. The males in their histopry were quite important for it, tbh.

Your choice of male is very important. If you let them fully express youll even notice some make glandular trichs pretty heavy, some dont, some branch out like females, others dont. Just like the females.
Most growers haven't a clue how much is involved in trying to better a strain. Good males are just as hard to find as females. I do it for me, personally as I'm not selling anything and I'd really like to get to a point where I can just pop fem seeds for a year. I wish I had unlimited space and resources and more damn time😉

💯

I had an electrical instructor who had a visual for time. Electronics in vehicles has come a long way and things had been measured in MS milliseconds for a few years but now we are seeing PS picoseconds.
He would bring in 2 loops of wire. One you could carry and one he pushed in on a skid. It represented the amount of time it took electricity to travel a path.
Same guy used to tell us how dvom tools and scan tools were twice as expensive as they should be as the digital nature of the tools meant it spends 1/2 it's time in the off condition.

LOL, I hear you on all of that man! I am an awful guitar player...it skipped a generation, but my dad passed the gift to my son and he is consumed with guitars and playing. That Mustang is actually his, he left he here last weekend. I think it's a 66 but I'm not 100%. My son started playing and collecting when he was 11 or 12 years old and he has built himself a pretty impressive collection for such a young man.

The figuring on that Strat (body AND neck) is beautiful!!!

We have also been building guitars together for a couple of years now. Well....he builds/shapes the bodies and builds the necks and then he has me finish sand and apply the final finish. We are building a Les Paul Jr for me right now. I really like the way he shaped the body. Now I get to try to make this slab of ribbon mahogany dance. I grain filled it and sprayed a sealer coat of nitro last week and it really brought the color and figure in the wood out. It will get a few coats of heritage cherry nitro and then clear. Then then elbow grease.....

Beautiful slab of mahogany. Love the beveling. My tele is a two piece mahogany.

The strat is a 2 piece non-bookmatched, flamed sapele body. it's the entire body not just the top 😍. Neck is AAA flamed roasted maple. Solid. Fretboard is pau ferro. Inlays are real abalone. I call her orange sunshine. Reference to the grateful dead's sound engineer (and chemist 😉🫠) Owsley "bear" Stanley. You either get the reference, or ya don't lol

She's my pride and joy. My prized possession. Hand built from scratch with mostly hand tools. She needs a cleaning. Super smudgy rn
