How close are the plants to the light? It also looks like some of the leaves are wet. Are you spraying water on the foliage?

Usually when a zebra stripe pattern is on top and showing up in newer growth, turn down your light. It's light intensity burn. You're trying to drive your plant too hard. Back the light off or lower the intensity 10-15%

Edit: and keep the foliage dry.

I just got done spraying them with their ipm regimen. I turn the light intensity down when I do that until they dry. The lights are pretty high up and are at 40%. Its a 650 watt Spiderfarmer. I don't think its a light intensity issue but I could be wrong. They looked healthy up until a few weeks ago.

Are you able to take a reading of the light? That way you will know for sure.

I agree that as high as it is, it would be unlikely, but the zebra stripes are still there. There's another reason to turn down the lights though ... it buys you time to sort things out.

What is your feed routine? Are you adding cal-mag to your routine?

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I gave them calmag a few days ago as I thought it was a magnesium deficiency and they perked up a little bit but still looking sad. That was a couple days ago. Maybe they need some more time.

It looks like its in newer growth. Magnesium is a mobile nutrient and deficiencies would show up in older growth. That's why I was wondering about light intensity burn.

Have you been giving them cal-mag from the beginning of your grow? Is your water considered "hard water?"

I'm in a big city so hard water isn't an issue. I have not been giving them calmag at all until a few days ago. Also have not fed them at all really. They've been eating whats in the roots organic soil since birth. Thats why I'm thinking maybe they are starting to get hungry? Idk though. Doesn't look like a nutrient deficiency to me but I could be wrong.

If you search Aloha Limone you should be able to see my grow thread. That should give you a more detailed walk through of what I've been doing with these plants. That would probably make diagnosing the issue alot easier.

I live in a fairly large city too. My water quality is horrible. It's hard. It's alkaline and it has a ppm rating near 300 out of the tap. My water is so bad that I use a water distiller for my plants.

It wouldn't hurt to check your city's water report.

I'll head over shortly. Have you tried epsom salts? It's cheap and if you add a teaspoon per gallon of water, it will help make sure it's not magnesium ... but correcting the deficiency now won't heal what is already damaged. It will fix it going forward only.

Thats my next step. Gonna pick some up tomorrow and see if that helps.
I would use that during veg over cal-mag unless you see signs of calcium deficiency.

Calcium is a bit different. It's not considered mobile so a deficiency will show up in new growth. However an over-abundance of calcium can lock out just about every other nutrient which is why I wouldn't use it in veg unless you see calcium deficiency signs.

I use epsom salts during veg and then switch to cal-mag the second week of flower.
