I remember going to visit the girlfriends father in New Rochelle and you could smell weed everywhere. There was a short bus down the road converted into a rolling weed dispensary with full vinyl wrapped advertising on it. You could spot it from a mile away. The state would shut down one place and three more would pop up. Like a game of weed dealer wackamole.

Yes but as soon as the cold wears off you have black flies, then mosquitoes, then horse flies, and if you are lucky enough to live near the coast green heads and noseums. Usually by late August or early September the bugs are gone but now you’re worried about the first frost coming. But the foliage . Im just over exaggerating lol I love it here in New England, but the winter weather can fuck off!

I remember going to the city maybe five years ago and going to a pop up weed store that was there for the weekend. Was pretty fuckin sick. Was talking to one of the bud tenders and they were saying they set up at a different spot like every other weekend and would just post on instagram where they were going to be.

It was when they were at that weird spot of being legal but no legal dispensaries were open. So in typical New York fashion they figured it out lol

Also chased down one of those trucks but they only had like cbd and weird shit like that. But yeah they were everywhere with huge bud pics on the side. Lol

Only house in the area no power

Utility company says we do and they can see our meter drawing. Yea, ok sure, my powers actually on, and I'm just so stupid I think it's off.

Told em that's impossible since meter is not even on... so they sent someone out.

Got told "yea that's really weird" then they left.

Been another 2 hours now, calling utility company results in "a technician should be available shortly".

Can't open the fridge so went to grab food with Mom. There's 4 city utility trucks having a pow wow at a Mexican restaurant rn.

Just got off phone with utility company again. Got called a liar about the technician already coming and leaving. I'm guessing he bailed when he got a text saying "Mexican sound good?" Asked about all the trucks at the Mexican restaurant and got told "everyone is entitled to a lunch". Shiiiiiit I wish I got payed for a 2+ hour lunch every day.

We're about to go in person to the utility company and raise total hell face to face with a poor receptionist that has no idea about any of this most likely.

Powers been out for 5 1/2 hours now and they haven't done anything at all to fix it. And it's only our house no one else. Pretty sure the transformer on our pole kicked the bucket. We're the only ones on it and it's ancient and rusty. But wouldn't know because they won't do anything about it. Apparently they're even willing to lie to us about our own power in fact NOT being off just to get us off the phone. They're that fucking lazy here.

You know a lot of you fellas got a lot of money tied up in your crops. I am rural and we loose power a lot. I have a backup mounted in a vehicle that I used for a previous job. I did mobile programming and diag for shops not really tooled up proper. I installed a 3500 watt pure sine wave converter in my 2013 escape. It is kinda my farm vehicle now as the 3rd deer strike done her for.
Basically in the back I have a 2 plug outlet that gives me a 30 amp service. When needed I run a extension cord in a basement window and run my grow and the second one into the kitchen.
These wire up easily but need to be at the battery or past any load detection items used for controlling the vehicle charging system. They are also way cheaper now.

It's not a big deal and I have very little investment tied up in anything I do cannabis. My whole tent setups don't even cost $250 to put together, that includes all lighting and airflow/ducting and the tent itself

I just open the blinds and the tent when lights supposed to come on if powers out. Plants see cloudy days all the time.

I was mad I couldn't get into the fridge, and we have well water, no electricity mean no toilet
