Yes I’d still try to source it, some places do shady shit and it’ll qualify as “organic” homemade obviously is the most trusted but not everyone can do that, I kinda been going with the heavy cover cropping and rice hulls and straw to build layers and let it bread down, EWC can be used as well, I was thinking of using mushroom compost I need to research the company and see

Harvest went great a few days ago! Just a bit warm today the dry tent is up to 75 (past 3 hours) need it to cool down quick overnight lol, humidity right in point still though
So many choices too... Can drive you nuts almost. I saw the mushroom compost as being great for cannabis. And then BAS has their fish compost ($50 a bag 😒) so yeah, the choices. I like the idea of just chop and drop and done as well. What attracts me to the compost is the humic acid it naturally provides to the soil. The local shop uses worms to munch down on whatever, so kinda of a vermicompost? Or is vermicompost.

They look great overall! Is that the first run or multiple runs before?

Here’s a few pics of the Frostette in the 4x4
This is some serious shit right here man! 😳 I know I’ve probably commented on them already, and I’ll do it again if I see it!🤣 outstanding!😍 love the bud structure on these!

Yeah fish compost is different but I believe EWC can be classified as vermicompost, I also keep the worms in the bags, so they much on everything and constantly provide fresh EWC to the bags, started with 50 each, heard they’d double every 2-3 months until they feel the pressure and will then control thee population themselves at a safe level

I use the organics Alive FPF

Description

Organics Alive FPF is fermented plant and Non GMO grains. It is not mined or derived from mined sources. FPF is a powerful foliar inoculant and root drench with instant results. The elemental properties within its nature increases the plant’s ability to readily complex minerals and nutrients making them available to plant roots and easily absorbable through cell walls.
FPF is fermented grains liquid which we isolate and extract using a non-base method for pure and clean material containing no heavy metals.
FPF contains high levels of small molecule composition acids, amino acids, humic acid, minerals and enzymes. It is of low molecular weight. Because of its low molecular weight, it has the ability to readily bond minerals and elements into its molecular structure causing them to dissolve and become easily absorbed by plants.
  • FPF is organic and non-toxic.
  • Dissolves silica and magnifies the many benefits of this element.
  • Responsible for an increase in stomata opening and transpiration and assists plant respiration as well as improving the respiration of beneficial microorganisms.
  • Directly influences numerous enzymatic processes and stimulates the plant's immune system.
  • Beneficial for plant RNA & DNA.
  • Increase the activity of multiple enzymes.
  • Aid chlorophyll synthesis.
  • Enhances terpene profile and increase brix.
  • Increase crop yields.
  • Buffer soil pH.
  • Synthesize new minerals.
  • Stimulate plant metabolism.
  • Decompose silica to release essential mineral nutrients.
  • Detoxify various pollutants (pesticides, herbicides, etc.).

Thanks for sharing that. 💯🔥💯

The end was strategically placed, this is our goal to have as lawn

Rest is open for garden beds

Moving the fire pit to where the the sand pit is under the play set then will do a paver surround probably for some chairs, fill in the old pit, paulobbaly put another flower bed up to the deck in Its place
Was your mouth frozen from the dental work?
Paulobbaly sounds like may have a fat tongue from the dentist 🤣

I started with synthetics, realized I wanted my garden organic to eat, so why would I smoke synthetically grown weed?, so went switched and ran organics as far as Gaia green and amendments the jump up to the living soil this run is a big game changer, as is out the bag with the craft blend it produces very well, now I’ll amend and tweak the bags for the next run once everything dries and is trimmed, and start the cover crop, gunna avoid a mid summer run too hot it’s 85 out right now, back is smoked, cut the grass again in the front so it’s ready for the light rain tomorrow (hopefully)

Never got around to watering the garden but they looked decent, tomorrow 67, overcast with a showers, perfect recovery day, still haven’t put a Drop of water in the garden at all
I'm with you on the heat. I live In a little duplex with window a/c. It's hard to keep cool. The humidity has already spiked in my tent. I got 2 fans blowing. Kind of concerned about mold so I'm keeping my eye out.

From the looks of your yard, I would hate to mow it. It's huge.

The struggle is real.. 😂 you gots this.

Flipped the tent on Saturday this one is really standing out to me. 9 leaf, very dark green and some cool branching. Can’t tell if it’s male or female yet. This is Texas butter

And I usually walk it haha, I enjoy it though,

Yeah my humidity in my dry tent is up at 68%, 73f weather went wonky, but I’ve never had an issue at those temps / RH to dry, I just make sure my fans are circulating air very well (more so on high humidity days) and exhaust is at 100%, even with more humid air I found more air exchange is still better then letting it go stagnant, that’s when issues occur in my experience

My 4x4 with Frostette is at 79F and 60% RH that’s about my average through a grow where I’m not worried

I worry if temps exceed 85f or if humidity exceeds 70% then I’ll open the doors up for a half hour to let free air exchange with just the fans.

Frostette should be done with week 8 tomorrow, ill let her run another week probably

I love when they have a nice deep green early, makes it easier to spot issues like mag def or nutrient deficiencies quickly vs a light leafed strain where it may be going mag def but you’re not seeing the leaf striping because it’s so close to the leaf color

Garden drop

Fed with 5 tbs True Organics tomato and vegetable, and some leaves mixed in, there doing well despite the cold snap/ drop to 40f overnight in fuckin June lol

The 25 gallon pots are 2x blueberry 2x goji berry one goji is having a hard time breaking dormancy I may swap her out for the other one I have but I’d hate for her just to be rooting in to take off

Maybe another week 🤣

Always enjoy the garden drops!😍 you’ve given me inspiration to build my trellising for the front yard, I’ve been slacking on all fronts!😆

✌️

I am with you bro, I stocked up on seeds this year and those were the first ones I grabbed.

@Mikedin how many did you go through to find your keeper? And how were those that didn’t make the cut? I’m only gonna grow one outside so I’m kinda curious what my chances are lookin like.

I gotta say, it’s fairly hard to miss with Frostette this is #6 she’s been my keeper for 7-8 cycles now, before her was my #3, she ran 4-5 cycles in totaI i ran one pack

Around day 40 from flip she’ll pack on frost crazy fast

Hell yeah! Little things at a time I try not to make projects too big, make goals with portions on big ones, trying to get big projects done fast ends up with a lower quality product, and more frustration

Smoke at least a joint and stare at the project to pre plan

Just some gardening tips 🤣
