I'm in Syracuse and we feel we actually invented everything in NY, although we're curiously like Stephen King's town of Derry. Degenerate things happen and it gets memory-holed and we just forget. BUT yes I went to Anchor Bar and a few others in Buffalo itself (and slept on a navy museum ship as a kid). Our secret wing thing among the wing capital of the world is a place called Sal's Birdland. That sauce is... well we don't tell others about it so we don't run out. The mild is eh but the hot is sweet onion, mustard, something.

Yeah, this one is a real keeper. Seeds came out in 2005. Here is one, only minutes before harvest:

Could be a bit greener, but after clipping all the shit away during harvest, it looks decent again.

Grows like trained also, although I just did sea of green. I think it's one of the few srains, that doesn't react well to topping either. But would be interesting to try anyway.

It legit has surpassed my expectations. It’s a really really good strain man I kind of feel like I caught lightning in a bottle with it.

Since I successfully woke it from the dead
The plant with the bouquet on it is the male Maui

I remember my buddies dad drove us, it was around the same time probably mid to late 90s, I remember listening to limp bizkit nookie on the way, we saw a wwf house show. All the star wrestled it was cool.

I love it already! One of my favourite strains of all times is Hawaii Haze from the early 2000s - some kind of Haze crossed with Maui. Something about that taste... tropical like mango or pineapple.

I was thinking about growing the Maui from Nirvana, but I heard it can be hit and miss.
