I read about these stink bugs last year but never saw one.
They are super good guys in my book! Skewered that damn Japanese beetle! Take that! Ya!
It's called a Spinded Soldier Bug. It looks kind of like a stink bug. This is the nymph stage.

Taking an afternoon walk, and came upon this turtle. About the size of a paper plate.

I never thought this “abomination” would make it into my garden. I typically don’t care for my volunteer plants, but it looks so cute!

I read that after 5 years the local predators start to learn to eat the Japanese Beatles and mine have been a lot less this year between me and them. The worst is those damn pheromone traps that call them from all over

Put the desiccant packs inside refrigerator?
I have them in ziplock type bags, standing upright in alphabetical order in an un-opemed box. Should I keep then in ziplock bags sealed inside a container?

No. No road out there. I just left it. Its choice was the pond, the woods, or the creek. It went somewhere, because it’s gone now, lol

It works for me, but there’s very little temperature and humidity change year round. A refrigerator might be your better option, can’t say for sure.
