I hear ya I went for a lil ride out to the farm stand for some fresh corn came home watered the cukes and some of wifeys flowers and I was soaked. Car said 93 degrees feels like 100% humidity 😂 how many photo plants are you down to now ?

Okay guys, I'm starting this year's adventure by experimenting again. LOL

This time I want to dry out the soil before planting to try and see if I can outsmart the Verticillium disease that ruined my crop last year.

I love repurposing, and had a roll of velum, so decided it would work great as an umbrella.
But, I had to buy fiberglass poles to support the vellum, and they came with cute little clips.

I also have an arsenle of biofungicides on the way in case my 'theory' does not pan out. LOL

Oh my God. .. is this heaven?

Went out this morning in the heat and humidity to spray all the photos with copper to slow down the septoria. (thatoneguyyouknow said he did that and I have a few of his plants, so...)

Of course, this afternoon it rains! grumble, grumble

Oh, wait, it stopped. (20mins.) more grumble, grumble, scowl

I’ve used copper before. It’s listed as “organic” because there is zero substitutes . It is a heavy metal, I go pretty easy with it.
Yeah, if you use it long-term, like on peach trees every year the soil below it can get ruined! As it runs off and into the soil! I think it takes quite a while! But once it is ruined, it is ruined for good! Has to be replaced!

I used 3 gallons on ALL of my photos and hit mostly the lower leaves. I did spray the grass clippings under the extras and the potting soil in the 12. But it's all off now after it rained. 🫤

Just so frustrating sometimes. And the storm was one of those isolated things that don't usually hit us. Oh, well. LOL

If it seems to be working! Hammer them!👍

So the Iranian will start flowering in the 18/6 light schedule you don't flip to 12/12 is what I'm taking in . I also have Sudanese will it do the same ?
Looks like the Lebanese is doing what it is supposed to be doing! It’s one of those strains like the Iranian with the 18 hour flowering trait! I think you’re good with it! Should just keep flowering until it finishes probably sometime in August!😍 I guess the next question is how big is the plant? Gonna get any production out of it?
It

The Iranian can start to flower as soon as it gets old enough! So you have to keep supplemental light on it till it gets big enough to be worth flowering! Out in the garden, they use little solar spotlights mounted on posts. I think he said they were like 10 bucks apiece at Home Depot! Then when they get big enough, you remove the light and then flowering can begin! He said sometimes it takes a week or two! And then it is a normal nine or 10 week flower cycle! I don’t know about the Sudanese. But it can happen with Lebanese!

Thanks. I've got one more Pbb X Haymeadow and 2 Banjos left. Pretty sure they're female.
I don't know about these regular seeds. Some are fairly easy to tell if they're female and some just don't until you've invested weeks/months of care. Finding males plays with my emotions, mad/sad/disappointed/relieved. Ya that last one, this year for sure. LOL

Oh, and the smell. My autos on the patio smell soooo good. It's what I miss most in the winter.
