Thanks. I've got one more Pbb X Haymeadow and 2 Banjos left. Pretty sure they're female.
I don't know about these regular seeds. Some are fairly easy to tell if they're female and some just don't until you've invested weeks/months of care. Finding males plays with my emotions, mad/sad/disappointed/relieved. Ya that last one, this year for sure. LOL

Oh, and the smell. My autos on the patio smell soooo good. It's what I miss most in the winter.
I love it cpurola sitting outside early morning before the heat and the smell of budding MJ. I love it as much as smelling my blooming lilies.

Did you get hit with storms yesterday ? We had a nasty one come through about 7 O’clock last night 60 mph winds and some pretty heavy rain
We got rain (real rain, not sprinkles) for about 10mins., very light wind.
Think we were on the edge of one.
They don't call these things isolated thunderstorms for nothing.

Did it do any damage?

I’ve lived in Texas and Florida, nice and cool down there, for like 15 minutes one day. Texas was a nice dry heat . Florida, hot and muggy. Doing commercial hot tar roofing in Florida, in the summer, was challenging. We were shingling a roof in Cape Canaveral once, pick up a box of nails. A cockroach ran out from under it, one of those big mf’ers, started circling and was dead in seconds. Now that’s hot!

No damage here thankfully !! Lots of power outages and downed wires and trees just to the north of us tho.Haven’t been out to the garden yet but I don’t expect any damages wind was coming from the NNW so my garage blocked it all plus my plants are soooo small 😂😂 I would look on the positive side when you find males ( I know it’s hard ) but think of all the time cut off your trim jail sentence 😂😂 I’m hoping and praying your plants pull through strong for ya !! Cooling off today here only gonna be 87 with 78% humidity

Got a few nice zinnia blooms in a pot but the ones in the ground are being ravaged by earwigs as are my jalapeños and basil. The only things they aren’t eating is sunpatiens probably spelled that wrong !! A galardia and petunias. Even have a few volunteer petunias and zinnias in the driveway crack so of course I can’t kill those weeds😂😂 also pulled my sad garlic harvest

That's terrible about the earwigs. Almost as bad as the Japanese Beetles.
Are you sure it's earwigs? Could be those Asiatic beetles that eat at night. We have those too.

You have alot of garlic! I did that for a couple years. Didn't want to waste any so we peeled it all. (if you think trimming weed is annoying that's worse. LOL) Then minced it all and formed it into a log and froze it. Sliced some off whenever we needed it. Worked great until we discovered Sam's Club's minced garlic in a big jar. The rest of the homegrown never got used and I threw it out after the freezer quit and everything melted.

some friends in St. Clair Shores sent videos of them wading in the streets. They got 4 inches. Nothing crazy here.

Could be the Asian beetles I guess there is a ton of them on a big thick nasty ass vine that covers my back fence but from what I’ve seen they seem to like that vine and seem to stay in there. I guess I should maybe break out a flashlight one of these deck beer nights 😂😂 your photo plants are loooking great 👍 that bud rot plant looks to have some aphids as well. That garlic just gets tops n roots cut off and put in the basement on screens and lasts all year no problem

@cpurola just let me know where you want to start or what you want help with,.. as i’ll need to know specifics,.
Thanks @GNick55, this year I'm using Sunshine mix #4 potting soil and I amended it with worm castings, bone meal, and crappy cow manure before transplant. I got a moisture meter and check it when the leaves start drooping, usually the second day after I water or it rains.
I'm using well water (un-softened, just sticks and twigs filter) so they probably have enough minerals. I need to keep them as healthy as possible with the diseases around here.

I've been using Megacrop and Recharge every 2 weeks or so.

I watched the videos you posted about top dressing with Gia Green and then adding 'other stuff'. That's where I need direction, the 'other stuff'. Thanks much.
