Gonna repost a video I did for a guy asking for preemptives indoors, no need to involve nasty chemicals this is all you need really. If things get really ugly outdoors GNick likes to use diluted ISO but I would leave that for extreme cases like he does because alcohol dissolves trichomes. Indoors it shouldnt get as ugly as it can get outdoors, unless you neglect them enough.

Another good thing about potassic soap, dont know if I said it in this thread already I dont think so, but its safe for bees. Dish soap is dangerous for bees.
EDIT: I forgot to add something for soil pests since I dont have them anymore using neem meal and BTI, but what I did before that is using diatomaceous earth and then cut the liquid silica if fungus gnats were present. You dont need too much either, enough to make the substrate slightly white after youre done mixing it with the soil. Nematodes are another option but they die without prey unlike BTI and BTC.
