I think all of these fast strains use a certain amount of ruderalis! I guess the thought never occurred to them to use a land race where it is completely natural to achieve their desired result! Maybe the final product won’t be pretty enough! But router Alice is natural also!

I think I would still try and figure out a way to clean up the 20 gallon soil and get one of the other plants into it!! I just yank them out, shake off the roots as best you can and stick something in the pot! Even if it’s only 3/4 full of soil! If you wanna hassle with it! You don’t have to get all of the old root material out!

Evidently it does! But he is using them to extend veg in early spring! I don’t think that is moth season yet! From here on out, it might be so you’d have to be careful with it! It is on the Jade nectar channel on YouTube on growing Iranian 18 hour flower that need to be kept in veg long enough to be big enough to be viable when the light is removed! He does a lot of segments on Iranians! He’s in love with them! Lol! He was harvesting at the end of July! But said he got started a month late this year and usually harvest at the end of June or early July! Very trippy plant!

I had thought of using these before I ran electricity to my greenhouse. The drawbacks I saw were not being able to turn them off at a set time and their lack of light strength. But standard home LED's with the diffuser removed and ran for 15hrs a day will keep plants vegging. I've been doing it for several years now and I have flowered and harvested almost every month of the year. Jan/Feb/March being the most difficult to get flowers to plump up so I don't flip going into winter unless I'm breeding

For those of us growing outdoors there are plenty of bugs that love marijuana plants, some strains more than others and there's no way I can grow and get much smoke, unless I wanna smoke leaves from not maintaining an Intragated Pest Management system or IPM. From neem being my go to to Jack's Dead Bug to diatomaceous earth to sulfur I've got to keep the insect numbers down or I get very little smoke and might as well buy it
In my experience it affects it for the better ! Just make sure your water isn’t cold or you will knock some trichs off
I had a butterfly taunt me last week. This morning, when I walked out there, it was sitting on one of the weed plants and I swooped upwards with my net and was certain I caught it. Nope. Have to refine my technique I guess. LOLTotally agree with you @PlumberSoCal2 . We monitor these plants for 6months it seems like so why deal with flying or crawlers crapping an eating our harvests? So many safer pestisides now adays. Now i do not spray any further than 2wks prior to harvests i had pick through the colas and buds while i pre trim them on the standing plant. Not saying it's the best way it's just the way i find it effective and i like stabbing them worms LOL
If you think about the environment the flowers are in for about 2 months, and how sticky they are, I'm suprised it isn't standard practice.
