only one that does it while she's equally distributed with light. will burry her sum deeper and the obvious answer is genetics?

Why is it every time I go to church it feels like the pastor is looking straight at me the entire time he's giving his sermon? 🤣
I always try to make eye contact with the priest but when my eyes are crossed, do you know how many points you get if you get a priest to go off script 🤣

Are you looking at me??

Still-On-the-Books U.S. Laws

(some are state, some local, some federal; all are real)

Ridiculously Specific

  1. Alabama – It’s illegal to wear a fake mustache in church if it causes laughter.
  2. Arizona – You can’t let a donkey sleep in a bathtub.
  3. California – A frog that dies in a frog-jumping contest must be destroyed. You can’t eat it.
  4. Connecticut – Pickles must bounce to be legally sold as pickles.
  5. Georgia – You can’t eat fried chicken with utensils in Gainesville (yes, they enforce it for tourists).

Absurdly Broad

  1. Federal – It’s illegal to remove a tag from a mattress if you’re not the consumer.
  2. Federal – Mailing an “improperly sealed” package can technically be a federal offense.
  3. Federal – Using your neighbor’s Wi-Fi without permission could be charged as a felony under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
  4. Massachusetts – Singing the national anthem incorrectly (or as part of a medley) can get you fined.

Vaguely Dangerous

  1. Minnesota – You can’t cross state lines with a duck on your head.
  2. New York – It’s illegal to walk around with an ice cream cone in your back pocket on Sundays (originally to prevent horse theft).
  3. Oklahoma – You can’t make faces at a dog.

The “You’re Already Guilty” Stuff

  1. Federal – Downloading an image from the internet without proper license = copyright infringement (possible felony).
  2. Federal – “Structuring” your bank deposits (breaking them into smaller amounts to avoid reporting) is a federal crime—even if the money is legal.
  3. State-level – Driving 1 mph over the limit + any minor paperwork error (expired license, insurance card in wrong name) can stack into a criminal charge in some states.

💀 Moral of the story:
Between outdated, oddly specific, and overbroad laws, it’s almost impossible to go a week without technically breaking something. Most aren’t enforced… until they are.

I'm just grateful we don't have a verbal morality code, or I'd be fucked. 🤣

Ohhh, i think i used the wrong earth and grabbed the normal flower earth in there in the darkness of my balkony. Solution: burn it with nutes, muahwahaha

That's it, i dug in, looks like i put the shit earth and put some of the good one ontop. Small pot, one handful of the wrong substrate

How many laws are there in the USA?

  • There’s no official tally of all federal laws. But estimates and analyses highlight the scale:
    • The U.S. Code—our federal statutes—grew from a single volume less than a century ago to 54 volumes and around 60,000 pages by 2018. Congress passes about 344 new laws each session, adding 2 to 3 million words of federal law per year Skeptics Stack ExchangeEconlib+8The Atlantic+8The Atlantic+8.
    • There are approximately 1,510 sections in the U.S. Code that define federal crimes, totaling around 5,199 distinct criminal offenses as of 2019 Mercatus Center+1.
    • Add to that around 300,000 federal regulations (from agencies) that carry criminal penalties WikipediaThe Wall Street Journal.
    • And that's just federal law—each state has its own criminal codes with hundreds more offenses per jurisdiction The Wall Street Journal.

Bottom line: The U.S. legal system is enormous—stretching tens or hundreds of thousands of pages across federal statutes and regulations, plus state laws. There’s no single, clean count, only scale estimates.

Good thing i have 350ft of the .25 black hose laying around I also have a smart faucet as well. I need to dig that thing out. Thanks for reminding me about that. I also have like 50 drain away trays better the 16th ones. I could probably hook myself up and make a whole bunch of flood rigs.
Anti siphoning....thanks cap for tip. I will be using that info the next time i travel.

I’ve been having fun putting myself into bad ass movies
