Thanks Chucky nerves of steel is getting old buddy. I’m glad you’re still here!!!
I was gonna say something about that, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it! Ha ha ha ha! Looking good brother! Hope you can push them till the end! Without them melting down on you!😍🍻Rooke has proved his mettle repeatedly over the years! No one has gone deeper under the most adverse conditions then you have back there! You will always be, nerves of steel, in my book!😍👍

Leave space in your starter pots so when they get leggy you can just add more soil to support them. That will also cause new roots to form on the part of the stem you covered and keep you from transplanting them so soon. Autoflowers DO NOT LIKE being transplanted so if you're doing it 2-3 times of course they're acting that way.

Think of it this way. The average lifespan of an autoflower is 85 days. The average lifespan of a person is 85 years. If you put an autoflower into shock even for one day, that's the equivalent of someone being in a coma for 1 year. The time to recover isn't there. So avoid the best you can throwing them into shock.

I honestly think people should start with photos because they're more forgiving. At least until you get the hang of keeping them alive. But you'll figure it out.
Agreed ... I started with autos , too quick , made lots of mistakes , switched to photos to learn get better . Last year was my first "bag pretty " with ALot of yield. Repeated same this year doubled plant size, with less plants . I'm ready to try autos again ! Can't wait ! Now that I have my growing habits down and some Spidey sense about it all😂

Durbin your analogy is bang on well said!! It’s soooo true. I made a small hole the size of my hand in my garden soil filled it with some promix hp soil then placed my seed almost an inch deep. Within 3 days they were up. My garden soil is a bit too dense for a seed to push-up through. The only reason I have touched some of them is due to septoria I pruned the affected leaves off this past week. No topping no lst. During a storm I had about 16” of a top cola break but hadn’t broke the outer skin and when I lifted it up I felt resistance so I left it and taped it with duct tape and it continued growing that’s the only thing that I did with them. Durban knows his shit on this. Trust his info it’s gold!

Good morning my friends I hope you’re all well. Update on my autos I made a vid yesterday I hope it’s not too long if it is I’ll post some pics. My dilemma is this. My buds are getting quite big now and I found some rot in a main cola 2 days after a brief rain. I shook them colas every one of them right after the rain and we had a fairly stiff breeze blowing after I was done 2 days later I found the rot. Chopped it off no biggie shit happens. Now the forecast has rain coming tomorrow then a dry day followed by3 days of rain another week might get me to the end of harvest even if I can build a lean to to keep the rain off of them 3 days of humidity Will turn my hard work to mush any other ideas welcomed my friends
Grab yourself a drum fan. As long as it’s not raining directly on it, it won’t smoke out. (Hurricane makes an orbital 16” that’s ~$60, but loud.)

You can make a quickly hoop house with PVC. Drive rebar stakes into the ground and then slide a couple 10’ poles (connected together) over the rebar and bend them into a half circle and throw a tarp over your hoops. You can use the electrical metallic tube straps to hold cross “beams” to the hoops and self taping metal screws to hold the PVC together.

I was reading about starting autos in small pots with the bottom cut away and once the plant needs re potting, place the small pot in the middle of a larger pot ,

We used nylon rods (for electric fencing) instead of rebar but the rest is the same. We also did a semi hoop on the back porch.

I can never let my wife see your set up...ever! 😉 😉 Very nice!
Haha thanks. I've been growing weed at some capacity since the late 90's and I'm still learning. The primary goal is to keep them alive from start to finish. No need to do anything extra with them until you get that part down. Focus on getting your soil mixture right. Seedlings love it light and loomy. You'll get it man.

Yours look fantastic. Makes sense cleaning up the bottoms and getting the diseases off of them. I also pick the lower leaves off and get em up away from the ground. But that's all I do to them. No hst or lst. Just let em grow their natural shape.

I'm using a 10' x 20' gazebo frame with a 9' 3" peak that's enclosed with nylon netting and covered with greenhouse plastic that extends about 4' down the sides. Good airflow but keeps rain off the plants and the moths away.

This Super Skunk is the sacrifial lamb of the batch.
For some reason this is the only one that's continued getting hit by a hopper. After almost 3 weeks I finally caught and killed the little fucker. The next set of leaves actually don't look all mangled up.
