My first grow in 30 years was 6 autos, which finished up about a month ago and the smoke is great BUT.....it could have been better! ( pics upon request)
I definitely had my issues with the 1st grow that I'm hoping to clean up this time.
Join me on my growing journey.....there's a long way to go.

1000watt Boost Groled grow light, 4×4×8 Vivosun tent, 8" inline exhaust fan with 8" booster fan as an intake, it vents out the basement window. Also 2 Vivosun small oscillating fans.
2 RH and Temp sensors strategically placed along with a couple hydrometers on the floor.
Flora Series Micro,Gro,Bloom!

I mixed my own soil," sort of ", it's the new Miracle grow and a bunch of stuff I put in,like....bat guano, perlite,vermiculite,lava charcoal, D.E, bone meal, pumice rocks ,coffee grounds and a little lava sand.
I also put some Ja-Ma and Great white root hormone on the soil in week 2, for help with root growth.
I will post every week UNLESS, something exciting happens, good or bad!
Till then...grow on my brothers and sisters!

Week 4 Veg is coming to a close and the Purple ghost girl is still shaking but the Afghan Hash plant is ready to be topped for the 1st time, as I'm trying the Manifold method for the 1st time and i'm gonna try and clone that 1st cut this weekend, probably!

When were they planted?
What nutrients are you using, and are you using a feed schedule? (Supplied by the nutrients supplier).

I use these nutrients and i suppose they speak for themselves.

I agree with the suggestion for Mega Crop nutrients. Ive used Fox Farm for my first couple grows....they were ok....I didnt use the flowering nutes so my first grow wasn't the best.
This is what was referred to me by @Captspaulding for doses:
This is per gallon
VEG: 5 grams Mega Crop part 1
2.5 grams cal mag
FLOWER
2.5 grams Mega Crop part 1
2.5 grams Sweet Candy
1 gram Sea Kelp
1 gram Bud Explosion
I switched mid grow to these nutes....I was amazed how simple these nutes are. I mix it up in a DWC 5 gallon bucket and use the cog to pour into gallon jugs. My plants haven't looked healthier. With FF at times my plants were over fertilized. Good luck and welcome to the farm

I started growing again.. its been more like 45 years ago for me. I too started with auto's.....they didnt have those 45 years ago. Once you germinate the seeds...its a race to the end. I still grow autos to research a strain, also they are smaller and will fit in some of my grow spaces. Photos are the way to go though. Much larger harvest.
I also am from Northest....Ohio. All my plants are in flower. Welcome to the farm.

So that wacky looking coloration on your leaves is magnesium deficiency. This is caused by an output setting on your light being too high as well as your light being a little bit too close these LEDs and the amount of light that they put out causes the plants to go into overdrive growth wise, but the main thing that happens is is that the vegging plant will start pulling all the magnesium out of the medium and deplete it completely It’s a light driven thing.
So the main cure for that is to turn your light down for instance I don’t veg any of my plants over 40% output and I hang all of my lights way up high at least 26 to 30 inches above canopy you do this and you’ll notice that all the new growth will go back to the healthy green, like all on the lower parts of your plant and that’s another indicator as well. Fact of the matter is is that all of the spots on your plant that are low aren’t being as affected by the light that’s why it looks different on the lower part of the plant as opposed to the top which has had the most exposure to your light source,


Turn your light down Homie for that stager growth. You should probably only be at like 25% output.


These lights have a crazy amount of light penetration, even for smaller panels picture 1/2 is my flower room which I end most of my runs at about 70% output

You’ll notice that the plants in my veg room arent all lanky from the light height, right so you set things up at lower output and do some choice training with LST and stakes and you won’t have plants that get all lanky like you read about on the web
I posted these pics as examples of what you need to do with your light height. It’s a lot easier to just boost a plant up to the light if it needs more on a plant by plant basis. You can always drop a plant back down if it starts to show any stressors or deficiencies.

Sound advice from @Captspaulding....he has turned my grow around....lights are up high and at 40%....ive been watching them....start at the 25%... and work up at small incurments....no more than 40.

I started at 40% and now I'm at 75% but my ppfd is @ 440 and it's supposed to be 400-600 in Veg.
Lights are @ 30 inches right now, vpd in range with lights on and off.
75 degrees/62% rh OFF/ 80 degrees/58% rh
Nothing bur water for 24 days and then i tried to start the Flora series from General Hydroponics but I think there's too much nutrients in the soil already except for the fact that my Afghan Hash Plant is doing great right next to that one.

So I chopped the affected leaves and flushed both of them twice and i'm gonna start over with the nutes later in the grow if I need to.
I'm gonna top the AHP and clone it so I still have 2 plants, just in case the PGC doesn't make it or lags behind the whole grow after it recovers.

I'm having trouble adding CalMag with the Flora series, the ppm and tds were sky high.

It's a 1000watt led light with 3 adjustment knows.
I was told it's most likely 400 watt, 400 watt and 200 watt for the UV.
So 40% would be like 170 watts,to low!!!!

September 2nd and I've made my second cut on the AHP I'm mainlineing and I think I'm gonna follow Nebula's mainline modification. In hers you only top the plant twice and then train it to have 8 big colas with a level canopy.
The Purple ghost candy is finally looking healthier so I'm probably going to just let her grow and flower her with the Hash plant.
I've been giving them mostly just water with 1 feeding of Flora series @ 1/4 strength.
I will try to feed the with the Flora program when I switch to 12/12 .
I bought a small Vivosun humidifier not sure if I mentioned it but it only lasts 1 day and doesn't change the rh to much, maybe 5%.
Also just got an Auto drip setup that I haven't setup .
Just grow it......

Here we go ladies,,,,it's the beginning of week 8 ,u know ,why so long???
I fucked up and had to change course but it's all good in CT.
I have made 2 toppings and began training a couple days ago, the Purple ghost is still giving me issues with an iron deficiency, I think!
I continue to feed them with Flora series and cal- mag, silica,coffee juice, and molasses.
Also some root hormones a couple times.
Well I know you want to see my artwork,so here it is....

I see that when you train them you wope out oll the leaves except the tops....I trained mine and have issues with alt of leaf growth....doesn't removing the leaves stunt the plant?
