My dad was a mechanic. We lived next door to a professional chef. When my dad would make meals he would come over eat and load up with leftovers. Dude told him your food is so good but your presentation sucks . I posted a pic of a meal I made with eggs some professional chef’s wife caught eye of it. Dude made it and did all the artsy presentation with my recipe. It was pretty but honestly it was too elegant for a classy guy such as myself

My son is a Executive Chef and owner at a restraunt in Pittsburgh. He is also the Executive Chef at another restraunt in the same group. That boy works all day. But know what you are talking about looks to pretty to touch.

My grandfather was one of the probably hundred guys who build this housing development in the late 50s. He framed for a few years before getting into the power company as a lineman. They're ok houses. Block basement but steel I beam supports, decent lumber, many good things about the place when I get the stagnation out.
Mom had two bad marriages, an abusive 'urban cowboy' whom I eventually beat until he was disabled and moved out, and hoarder asshole. I feel like I'm undoing retarded shit they did to the house every day. I sooooooooo want this fabric insulated wire out of here, and there are dead pipes and dead wires everywhere. All coming out. FUCK SPRAY FOAM HANG EVERY SON OF A BITCH THAT SELLS IT. (oooooooooooohm mane padme ohhhhhhhhhhm I am more evolved than that... in my head...)

There use to be a restaurant called Bill Knapps way back in the day. Old fashioned made in the restaurant fare that had to compete with low cost places and changing tastes. They had the best bean soup and I flavor and feel the base like the Bill Knapps soup.
Can still get the cakes they made but have not seen anything else in 25 years.

Restaurants come and go, sometimes we as patrons are lucky enough to have tasted that recipe or family secret in our travels. I remember so many different places over the years that are no more, and a small handful of places that still are.
God damn now I’m hungry.

All you peat based perlite medium dudes, im already started in the process haha! But how long do you all rinse for re use? I took all the 2 gal pots with the mix and put it in a 25 gallon fabric pot and started watering it in like there’s no tomorrow. i have fresh mixed peat mix to add along with im going to get some EWC. Any insight would be greatly appreciated : ) I’ve searched up the Capt’s thread on it but couldnt find it. I know he re uses : )

I re-use all the time. I mean I buy unamended soil that should test almost nothing for any nutes and I test every one. After a grow I turn it to mud, spread it out, dry it to hell, test a sample. If it reads just low nutes all over then great. I rebuild my usual mix. If not, GET WET SLUT! Re-dry and test.

Dude… I’ve out 8 gallons of water into my 60 gallon since yesterday, no runoff, hell no saucer under it

Were supposed to get some rain tues/wed so maybe after that ill be ready for getting it back into its pots : ) after i add more fresh peat and the ewc of course! And then for the transplant into that stuff I’ll water the plant in with the recharge!

Since I go taproot and helmet into the big pot, there is a little ounce of plain soil for it. At that point it's neither using nor burned by the bone meal and worm castings, and it doesn't get any nutes right away anyhow, so it seems then to be off and running.

@Captspaulding Cali blues! One started to throw a little purp in the last day! Noticed it today! Couple seem only a few weeks out! Im sure it’s a couple more than that but dang they jammed along the whole damn time!

All the while they get the green leaf line up. Mostly in flower. Using the Gaia as a base nutrient really cuts the mega 1 part out in veg it seemed.

I don't know the products per se but the soil amendments I do seem to be slow uptake and need a helper like the bone meal plus mag in the water. Worm castings are slow with the microwhozits (ask mike) and the chelators assist uptake, and those two together fight off and starve out bad root fungus. And I couldn't have told you that 6 months ago so I'm going to take a minute to applaud me for only being 99% stupid, there does seem to be improvement lol.
