I just looked that plant up and wow, it's bad news. Good luck digging it out. The website I looked at said it can grow back quite easily. Yikes.
Our biggest problems live in the hedgerow and include Virginia Creeper, wild grape vines and poison ivy/oak. I have noticed creeping charlie taking over the grass, but it's green, so it stays. LOL
Plants look great, except for the brown stuff.
I love the insects too and try to feed the beneficials all I can. This year I had lots of Dill seed so I sprinkled them around the plants. I have had no issues with bugs this year just Septoria and a few caterpillars.
But I'm not sure what to do about the yellow jackets under one of the planter boxes. I read that diatomaceous earth works. Ah, not for these hornets. Put it down 4 days ago, and we haven't had any rain, so...
