The only hitch to this batch is this discoloration on the stems occasionally. On two branches so far, everything suddenly wilts and the stems are really dark brown and dry.
Trying to stay ahead of it by watching for spots developing. It's a little early according to the tricomes to harvest, but I guess early bud is better than none. Good thing I'm not going for couchlock! Lol.

Do you get any maple flavor in your plants? I use wild cherry wood chips off my planer and put around mine with a few pine shavings. It seems like it has enhanced that natural pine smell a little in the plant itself.
Won't know till I smoke it.😆 It's the first time growing in my garden, since legalization. But I doubt it.

That happened to me two years ago, two of four plants, mystery as to what caused it

the cold or really a few nights below 55 will cause nutrient uptake issues especially NPK,. once the leaves have dried up or close to it or lifeless looking than pick them off and discard,.
the cold thus earlier if it continues really isn’t a good thing but i think we’ll be fine,.
Yup, we see the same in tomoto plants.

Question, I see a lot of outdoor grows above ground, is this so they can be moved inside?
I've got one left still in the ground and a lot in this thread have them in the ground @GNick55 has both. These are autoflowers so they will be small enough to move and I bring them in under lights for a while every night so they get more photo time (right @Oldchucky ;) )

Slam the light to them!👍🍻

Mine are in pots mainly because the ground is so hard to dig here I’m on top of a huge cave system all limestone I would take me months to dig a hole for a plant
But I might try to dig one next summer
Just curious. Someone else said where they lived, they had to grow in pots because it was against the law to grow them in ground. Maybe some turn their plants to maximize UV exposure on a 360 instead of East to West. It just helps gather information on different methods.

This is in a 15 gallon thank god not the ground View attachment 2521931
Nice! I figure if you get all the great methods together from many different places, it will allow one to create something great. A lot of the new strains I've tried just don't hold up like the older generation did. I'm not sure if it's because terpene breeding has overtaken growing as a whole. It's being pharmaceuticalized like Tylenol, one for sinuses and one for pain, anxiety, depression, and so on.

I have 14 different strains going now what I see is the newer strains are not as resilient but they smell amazing
Older 90 strains are bad ass in my weather the shit I smoked growing up it’s still better than the 30plus thc stuff to me jmo the less fucked with by man the better

Just my opinion
When they started breeding to be able to grow a sativa anywhere in America, that was OK but then then they bred everything out of it and made it smell like chocolate cake and pretty much messed up the genetics to wear. It’s not as stable as it used to be.
Now no one has a clue wtf were growing
With the new stuff
