Ah mate, I find the more I learn, the less I actually know. So I try to keep it simple nowadays..seems to be working ok for me. My ADHD doesn't allow me to juggle too much at a time, or I'll end up doing nothing at all. So minimising things suits my flow well.

They shine like a silverfern leaf in the moonlight..shimmery thing and so so strong.
Dude you're a poet 🤣

Sounds good though, I don't smoke a whole lot any more. I tend to get way too lazy and I don't get shit done if I'm high all the time. People are different, I had a friend that owned a hair salon and he would be in there talking to his customers all day while being high, me I just wanna eat and sleep when I'm high hehe. Thats cool too, but not all the time, so I stopped smoking daily and just go on a chronic vacation once in a while.

Mini Update -Week 8 Veg:
She outgrew her pot a few weeks too early, so I've decided to put her into a 15L (instead of 12L) pot to hopefully get me through to Nov 1 when I either flip her inside or put her outside. Remember, because she is a fast version, she will be triggered to flower by putting her outdoors. Depending on how big she gets in the next 7 weeks will decide whether I keep her inside and turn her or put her outside to do her thing. Decisions decisions! She will fuxking explode now she has a 15l transitional home..uff i may have to choose violence just to keep her in check!

Week 9 Veg:

What a growth spurt since her transplant. So much so, I've had to top her at the 6th node from the last topping site. If I don't keep this girl under strict control, she will get way too big for my room. Stay tuned to see how she comes back from her second topping.

Looking good! 🤠

Crazy how much these plants can grow in just a single week.

Isn't it, though? That's why I just love to record these diaries, as it records just how much a plant can (or can't lol) grow in a small amount of time. The most challenging aspect of achieving such rapid growth is maintaining steady food levels and pH levels, which is rather tricky when limited by pot size, tent space, and the use of premix for the most part. So three days ago, I gave her her very first Marine extract (fish and seaweed extraction I make myself) supplement drink just to keep up with the nutritional requirements. Can you see the calyces at the topping site? Shows she is keen to go to flower even at 18hrs and will do very fast (EasyGrow Seeds definately weren't kidding when they called her the OGK Fast Version) when I finally turn her or put her outside in about 5 weeks. At which stage I'm guessing this phenomenal growth will have slowed significantly in the pot, which has me leaning to putting her outside to flower, as she can then get as big as she wants without me having to hack her in half to contain her stretch or her having to constrict her roots by keeping her is this pot. Still undecided but im leaning , at this point, to putting outside on Nov 1st.

Yeah agreed, it can be easy to miss the growth if you don't take pictures of them.

Sounds like a good choice to grow it outside. Why not save on the electric bill if you have the opportunity to grow outside right?!

Exactly. I could turn one of my 450W Quantum PAR LED boards off! Keeping it cooler in the tent overall as we go into the warmer months, keeping power and water use down significantly. I have two autoflowers and three photoperiods I intend on flipping (not including this one) on Nov 1st, which will sgrout out half the room perfectly without this beast in the way, usurping resources. Nope, as I type, I'm convincing myself to put her outside.

Week 10 1st week Flowering,
Uff nope nope nope you got to get outside you behemoth!! 600mm high X 750mm wide! Currently outside light hours are 12hrs and 6mins and increasing by 2mins and 11secs per day. Not to worry she is a fast version and I expect her to go straight to flower giving me approx 500grams of quality organic sungrown OG Kush in 55-70 days time. Woohoo! Stay with us for updates!

I've decided that OG Kush will be strictly outside for me. The one I had inside just went nuts and got way too tall. I would have dealt with it but in the end it died while I was gone. It was on a vivosun auto watering base which holds over a gallon and I had spikes/bottles in it too but I was gone for 10 days and it was bone dry when I got home.

The one I have outside has done real well though, in a 5 gal bucket it was 4'7" when I measured a few days ago and now has buds all over it. Next time I try this strain I'll have it outdoors in 15 gal bags.

It's such a beast of a strain, isn't it?! I was dreaming, looking back, thinking I could flower her in the tent.Easy Grow Seeds has literally made an EVEN bigger bloody version. Very much looking forward to seeing how she does in the next few weeks. Guessing will be seeing flowering in the next 7-10days. It's still pretty cold outside when the sun isn't shining, so this change of scenery is going to shock the shit outta her. Man, that OG of yours outside is doing well. Shame out the inside, I reckon she would have been dry just 4 days after you left. My one was drinking 3L a day out of the drip tray alone. Can see the massive thirsty roots; now I know where all that water was going. No shortage of rain in Spring in NZ, so she can drink all she wants now. I bet it feels good for her to get her feet into Mumma Earth!

Week 11 mini update: After two nights of solid rain and two overcast days since transplanting outside, she has begun her stretch, so I don't have much time if I want to train her out a bit before buds set in. So ive giftwrapped her and tucked all of her long branches through the mesh (not easy as these squares are 2"x2") but nothing broken and only one mildly torn leaf later she is ready to really stretch out wide, this move along could double my harvest as ive let a lot more light and air in just in time for her big ole stretch before she starts settings buds in just over a fortnights time. All going to plan so far and we have fine weather coming up so she will boogie now, just wait! Also gave her a big liquid feed of my marine brew. The next feeding will be when i see hairs and i then i might even treat her to some organic bat guano..if im feeling generous.

Week 11 Vegetation:
Plenty of rain and sun, and strengthening winds have got her boogying as predicted! So she is doing exactly as planned...so far. So long as she goes to flower in the next 14 days (ive got all my fingers and toes crosses she does) I'm happy as a clam! Ooh, you better go to flower, ya beast. I've got plans for that real estate you're taking up.
