Frost shot. I put an LED work lay behind me so it shines nicely.

As far as the B Tilly, way too complex and in depth for me to handle on the business. For the future. I'm playing in dirt now.

To everybody else, yes, I brought him in, but I didn't expect that. Now you know why I feel stupid around most of the people I choose to work with.

Here's my per productivity spreadsheet. Of course. All the numbers are plugable since I'm clueless.

And of course it doesn't take into account any overhead whatsoever of the factory.

I wouldn't put more than 10 plants in a wind tunnel and I'd put half a dozen of them in a room.

I think the productivity can be far better, I'm an old man who is in pain and annoyed and not being paid for this. So I'm just kicking back and wasting time and listening to music and not trying too hard.

Also, my crazy crazy ADHD drives me in this process. I can go through a branch a hundred times over an hour. Someone else could say no, the guidelines say do this and we will do that and we'll have the standardized growth after we settled on what we do for particular plants.

There will have to be a whole bunch of cultivars tested for this to see who does best and how they react differently.

As far as all the variety of options you've thrown out there. Way too much for me. I want to play in the dirt and get paid to do r&d and hand it all to someone else. I'll find that someone else.

Okay, I've decided to allow the industry to survive for a while. Screw driving the price down. Let's just create a few factories that will allow us to produce THC at under everybody else's cost and just charge slightly less than them. We will always be cheaper. We will always make billions. We will always profit off the people in pain. Screw them. Let's make some money.

I'll still give it away for free to my neighbors.

Also, I think your various BTUs and energy utilization and heat exchange is all bullshit. Totally.

I don't think it accounts for how a wind tunnel works. I don't think it accounts for the fact I'm blowing in from the outside and sucking to the outside in a cold environment to start off with.

I don't give a shit about fine-tuning temperatures like a computer room. That's incredibly dense stuff. Truly hundreds of thousands of times denser than this.

And these lights are not hot. They're cold. They're ridiculously cold. They cool easily and have wide open spaces around them to suck that heat off.

The productivity is so vastly greater than the trivial energy and heat and wind characteristics of this, I think it's a distraction.

But it was a good distraction.

Also, this is tiny and will not need stacks and stacks of people like a huge farm. This is not migrant farm worker stuff.

I will not go down politics into this thread but I will simply say the economy is crashing and will continue to do so for quite some time. AI's going to wipe out vast swaths of people's jobs. There is absolutely no concept of looking for workers. The workers will be everywhere.

And I want young nimble fingers. As legally as I can choose. I want people with high manual dexterity with small fingers. They don't have to lift anything. It'll be the easiest job they ever did. Those will be some seriously cheap workers compared to any other job offers out there.

Yes, I will take advantage of a terrible economy to hire people cheaply to do my bidding. And it doesn't need to be out in the sticks. I could locate this in a warehouse anywhere.

I think the only consideration, if we really cared about shaving, would be locating to the closest cheapest energy supplies.

We aren't using huge amounts like a foundry. But we care about our DLI. This is a commercial operation and DLI is magic.

I wrote an essay called DLI is bullshit. That's what got me kicked off of riu. I was hassling the commercial growers because they were hassling me about using too much light. But I recognize what DLI is for. Best average for commercial growers. They didn't like it and they kicked me off over it. So anybody who thinks I'm that crazy threatening guy off of riu who now hangs out here. No. I simply wrote an essay called DLI is bullshit.

But here I'll figure out the exact DLI.

And then I'll determine if I want to place any of the factories near a given power source because it's cheaper the closer you get.

Those are shitty neighborhoods. That would be perfect for cheap real estate. And those also are the cheapest workers. They live in the shitty neighborhoods.

Those places are food deserts. No vegetables. No fresh anything. People have to travel miles away from those places to get to a supermarket. I will put in subsidized produce stands and assorted other stuff from my workers and for the local neighborhood in general.

At least I can feed them.

To start off with choose northern states. Whatever the best coldest climate edges closest to the power sources I can get.

Good thing I live in the state of Washington by the Sea. Two out of three ain't bad. First few factories start here and then if I want to shave I go find the best location I can.

Good thought processes.

Imagine how these numbers change when the testing comes back. Do you really think it's just going to be 10%?

And you know those young nimble fingers will be working through those plants with a quota in mind. It's a job. It's production. Those plants per person will multiply.

The pricing was taken from 70% concentrate pricing. Not pure THC. I'm just throwing that 10% pure THC out there. When you get to actual bulkin and volume, if you're talking about what comes out of this, those numbers will multiply a few times again.

I love starting low.

I'm not Scotty. I don't want to save the day. I want to impress the fuck out of you when I'm done to start off with.

Promise low, which is still higher than anyone else, and then deliver much more.

I think if you put a quota on someone they'll be worth a few hundred thousand dollars worth of productivity.

And at that point it will become a high-paid profession. Because we can afford to pay them for it.

This is not a technical issue.

This is a legal / regulatory issue.

The problem has been solved. Now it's a matter of implementation detail from the technical side. That's all clear paths.

So now it's finding the right people with the right connections to open the right doors. That's it.

My assumption is that certain venture cap firms have those connections. The ones that have already done it. The ones who are trying to do it right now. Those are the ones I'd like to talk to.

I could be wrong. Maybe other people could suggest other paths for the legal/regulatory issues.

I'm sure I've got some gaping holes. That's okay. They'll be filled in in the process. I've got to get some heavy lawyer involvement.

Prototype has been proven beyond wildest dreams. Now what?

Oh and anybody reading this thinking I'm being hostile to Ben. Please don't. Remember my above a description of my speech patterns and how I'm like a machine gun When speaking one-on-one.

I've been screaming at Ben for many years. He seems to enjoy it. There's pictures of us at a party on the web from many years ago. Those are some great shots. It looks like I'm screaming at Ben. I am loudly telling a story at that moment. I am very animated. And drunk.

I got thrown out of an Irish bar for being too loud. I was in the furthest seat in the corner. I could be away from wherever the central noise was and I could not hear anything and I spoke at whatever level I thought was appropriate and after enough of that they just kicked my ass out.

On the other hand, that allowed me to track down grays.

That was an awesome place and they knew I was going to be loud so we rented out the top floor. That was the continued go-to spot once a year for years when the gatherings happened.

Take care

Screen is easy. You're fully shielded. I started on the web with my full name. The lawyers had a field day with that for a while until I turned it on them.

Remember, I was a horrible face-to-face communicator until around age 45. And then it's took another 15 years for it to really kick in.

Something tells me you have time.

Barebones. Open for display. Yay.

Plenty of air flow.

And I pulled off eight cups of material to turn into oil.

Check out how they expand. How tight they are to start off with and how they expand and how the older ones are worms while the younger ones are a bit more leaves.

And then I took those seven cups and...

Continuous harvest

This plant allows for a continuous harvesting. Not sure for how long.

I had to thin out the center branches to allow for air flow. I was taking anything that could have been considered a sucker branch in any other plant that I let live in this one.

I ran that through a ninja blender and chopped it fine. Ninjas are great. At least when they work for you.

Dry sifted, meaning I only got a tiny bit of it, a significant pile of kief. Multiple weeks worth if I smoked it daily as my primary source.

The initial loose fill was seven cups. After blending it turned down to a tight compressed 3 and 1/2 cups. This is a reasonable 50% of volume estimate in the future. There was nothing special about what I just took out, everything's pretty much like it.

I'm boiling that 3 and 1/2 cups of finely ground top bud and trichome shells in 3/4 of a gallon of MCT oil. I'll wash it out with another quarter gallon when it's done. That will give me my first cut maximum THC density in that oil, I'm sure of it. I usually use far less cannabis as compared to oil. That will give me at least a 5 to 1 dilution base.

And I'll do another extract with that bud. There will be lots left over for a second pass of clean oil.

So that means a minimum of 4 gallons of pain oil to be used over the next year.

Let's see. My wife broke her wrist and her foot in the last 6 months and uses a lot compared to me and I use a shitload for all my joints and tendons. I'm not worried. I have plenty.

Yeah this plant has paid for itself many times over.

This opened up a tremendous amount of area for the remaining buds to grow. Let's see if they actually fill it.

I took entire buds in this pass to ensure the air flow. In the future I want to see if I can cut half the bud and if it still keeps growing.

That would truly be continuous harvest. If I do full buds at a time I'll run out sooner or later in the centers. I'm not sure how long the edge tips can keep going when the plant is under this type of stress.

Fun to find out.

This harvest could be considered cumulative based on previous growth, so it's worthless to think in terms of future ongoing continuous harvesting, but it's a nice start.

Take care

New claim.

Yes you guys are going to crucify me for this one. Which is a appropriate phrasing since I've discovered the holy grail.

I think I can have a continuously harvested plant that will produce one pound per month once the harvesting starts. Harvesting starts at approximately 9 months.

Simultaneously I'll get an ounce of hashish per month.

I think I can keep a plant alive in this state for at least 6 months. At the end of the 6 months I think I can pull a final additional 2 lb off it.

These numbers are low balls. I know how to estimate.

If I wasn't continuously harvesting it would produce anywhere from 10 to 20 lb, but the possibility of mold will be much higher. Part of continuously harvesting is freeing up airspace and light paths. Simply freeing up air volume to grow into.

Once I harvest certain blocking buds the one next to it can grow 10 times larger.

A quarter size bud can uncompress into a plum size bud when freed up and 3 days later it can be unrolled again into a baseball-sized bud. 3 days later it is filled in with solid worms. But that quarter size bud would have died if the one next to it didn't get removed.

It actually becomes a close pick and choose decision, but there's so many of them you can just move along and ignore the mistakes because they'll just be grown back in.

Just cut that goddamn bud out.

Fast music. Go into fuck it mode. Don't look too close because really it feels like I'm damaging the hell out of the plant when I'm doing it. But I know it'll be better later.

If I do a bunch of them I'm sure some of them will go hermie on me. They will have to have one-on-one care for a year or two before I figure out the ones that I can keep going and the ones that go hermie. Or the ones that are more susceptible to mold.

This was all education and I lost at least 3 months on this plant but I wouldn't want to commit to anything better than what I've just come up with until I duplicate.

The next ones will be tiny, indoor, just like the current. But the key issue is there will be multiple plants close together utilizing the light better.

Simultaneously I will use much less light and power. I guarantee my light efficiency utilization will be increased by a multiple of four with lots of room to get better.

Now it becomes a matter of tightening. Tuning. Optimization. This is my absolute favorite part of the job. Make it better.

Many years ago the CEO handed the CTO a book. It was Good to great. It was a production management guide. It was simply find something to measure and then measure it and then make it better. It's a great book, but it boils down to that.

The CTO handed the book to me. He said read this and study it or you're getting fired.

Yes sir!

Damn fine book.

And then it allowed me to talk to the CEO.

First blurt

Not first post, first blurt.

The same CTO who gave me that book and said read it or you're getting fired made it a condition of employment in how I spoke to him.

He fucking broke me.

He said he always wants my first impression. 100%. I'm not allowed to pause to think. When he is done talking, I must start speaking.

His perspective is that when anybody is ever allowed to think at that moment they will guide their answer to what he wants to hear. That's a damn fine assumption. Don't give people time to think up a lie or a guided answer. Get their first impression.

But that doesn't work for me. I'm not even thinking about the answer when I'm listening to someone. I'm just trying to listen.

Condition of employment. If I didn't behave that way he would fire me.

As I spoke previously, I can't do that. Or at least I can't do that without enormous stress.

We had many meetings through the years that weren't really meetings. He would just grab me and take me to an expensive restaurant and grill me.

For example. An off-the-cuff questions such as?

What would it cost me to set up a replacement disc array for all the mainframe and Unix systems and the window systems and all the email and disk servers and database servers and the back end production systems that we were not really quite sure what operating systems are but they require some storage and consolidate them all.

Just put a SAN in. Before the word SAN existed.

Supporting at least a dozen operating systems simultaneously over fiber channel. When fiber channel really wasn't a standard yet but it was getting there. Mix that with the mainframe copper and FICON and bus and tag disc and tape connections.

Make sure it emulates all the disk arrays that those systems are already talking to. Make sure they don't know that something's changed.

Multiple regions of a huge corporation would depend on its 100% availability. Bring everything under one roof.

I don't know, there's about a half a dozen vendors that claim to be able to do this but this is some fucking research. They're all lying.

You realize I'm going to have to actually go places and visit vendors and then coordinate it all while simultaneously calling them on their bullshit and negotiating with them and then when it all comes in I'm going to have to learn all the software and all the systems associated with it and I'm going to have to install it on every system it touches. Or I'm going to have to direct one of my admins to do it after I've learned how to do it because I can't trust anybody to do the first one but me.

This consolidation allows a technical organization to take over a company as all their data ends up in a single technical department's lap. So while it is justified on the technology, it also has enormous political ramifications. There will be battles.

How much would it cost?

Well I don't know. When would I be doing this? All the technology involved is in a constant incremental stream. It gets better faster and cheaper. If I'm doing it right now it's different from 6 months from a year. When will I be doing this?

Let's say you have to put it in about a year from now. So you start actually working in 6 months on the project.

Grab a pen and and a piece of paper and a quick scratching and say okay. Give me $3 million.

He says okay. I'll think about it. Thank you very much.

I go back to my desk after lunch. I go back to whatever I'm working and he calls me. He says start working on it right now. You have budget.

No. I gave you numbers for 6 months of discounts of an incredibly brutally competitive industry. I need more money or time.

You have neither. Start working and get it done.

Where is this on my priority?

The entire organization depends on it. It is your number one priority.

What other project can fall by the wayside?

None of them. Get it done.

Mother fucker.

I blurted something out and someone else ran with it but then it became my commitment. I hate when other people say I said something. I fucking hate it. Hear it from me or I didn't say it. He took what I said and told his boss that it could be done for this budget. So his boss said do it. Now.

30 minutes after lunch.

First blurt is to be avoided.

On the other hand..

You're getting real time first blurts. This is on purpose. I'm trying to give people real information here. Shit I'm thinking about as I'm thinking it and you get to see the pictures that trigger these thoughts at the same time.

So in this case the first blurts are intentional.

Also, that boss might be reading this. So I'm happy to tell the story from my perspective and tell him how annoyed it makes me.

Years later we parted ways. With lawyers involved. I actually enjoyed the experience. It cost me about 500 bucks in lawyer fees to get supported through an incredible transition.

Thank you very much for the suffering. It is how we grow.

Take care

With the same thought of other people speaking for me. Annoying me.

I met my 30-year-old daughter's boyfriend for the first time today. He didn't realize I was her dad.

He was a mansplaining annoying person to me. He treated my daughter poorly.

He stands about 6 in taller than me and has at least 60 lb of youth and muscle on me.

When he realized I was actually the dad I reached for a second introductory handshake. Let him know who I am.

As I had him kneeling before me a moment later he was trying to figure out what to do next.

.. Hey, he was a stoned dangerous guy who was being aggressive on my property and I reacted, I had already confirmed he was under the influence ...

He explained (through gritted teeth because I wasn't letting his backward turned wrist go) he could just pick me up and toss me into the pile of metal and then I was able to determine his default paths of response.

I explained the probing and that I was pissed how he spoke to my daughter and could claim to speak from me. I was explaining something and he tried to interpret it and he had no understanding of it and then he tried to tell her the situation.

So I went into great detail on the levels of annoyance and my behavior and the fact I'm probing and I know your responses now. And I know what you'll claim to do next but I won't trust just that path. Thank you very much.

  And I let him go.

This was so many levels of annoyance.

3 minutes later we're happy and smiling. I'm giving my song and dance and then it's time to go. Got stuff to do. Bye-bye.

I behave the same way in person that I behave online. For better or worse. I am consistent.

Not liking this green. Guess I have to learn some more.

Nah, I'm not going to bother learning. I'm going to throw some more chaos into the mix.

Cannabis oil is an antifungal ointment. Sure it kills pain but it does that too. It cured my foot fungus.

I'm going to paint cannabis oil on that daily. Let's see what happens.

Just kidding. I contacted the State agricultural office to arrange a visit here.

If all the branches look like this, is the entire plant a cola?

Besides the snaking Hydra head colas, there are the edge branches.

I figured out how to continuously top a plant and multiply the edge branches while flowering. I could keep on doing it. Each time I did it I pulled out additional hundreds of branches which dropped thousands of buds. Every 3 days or so. I just got bored doing it so I stopped.

They are dropping large amounts of buds that I will just leave to grow "naturally". Those hang like grape clusters. I'll do a slight light alteration and finish it off a week later. So it's got at least 2 months to go. As the plant doubles and triples in size.

View attachment 2503422

The underbud is rock solid in all directions. The cola tips find the canopy and pick a direction to grow. They leave behind an ever widening bud bases that lock with their neighbors and fill in solid because they're not really colas, they're converted buds and they grow wide as well. When they reach the edge of the canopy and see that bright light, they curl a little bit away because they always want to go up. Then they keep going.

This is crazy!! I thought the bonsai marijuana plants were wild

No one cares or wants anything to do with you here....

The results of your narcissistic horrible attitude you never worked to change.

The state agriculture department will laugh at you too....

Good luck 🖕
1 oz of hashish per month from this plant right now.

And thank you for playing. Welcome back.

And after the paranoia speech about telephone calls, I expected traffic to drop down to zero. Or damn close to it. It's okay, you're here. You're fine. You're easy.

But I expect anybody who does this stuff illegally to stay the hell out of this thread And that's a good idea as far as I'm concerned. Not that I'm accusing anyone, simply that's my assumption generally with people posting on these types of boards. I know I was.

So anyway, it was a filter post. But thank you for playing since you'll never understands what happens here.

Hash, you mean dead powdered leaf that fell off with a small amount of THC....

This why you didn't get it tested after saying you would lol
