That's not my plant.
Sorry πŸ˜† I really don't knock any method. I love learning from you guy's. My ADHD does have affect on my ego πŸ˜† but my hyper focus is methods to increase resin production by carefully carrying out strategies of mostly various high stress theories so to speak that different growers swear by or I come up with and yeah, I believe that most of them do have an effect on the resin accumulation.

I'm also not insinuating in any way that you're a bad grower. There's more than one way to handle your grow. It doesn't make one method superior to another. It falls more into a category of what works best for you. That's really what its all about. Your genetics + how well you care for your plants have far more to do with your potency than does your plant training method.

Your post underscores how a well done scrog produces more flowers. I'd say job well done!
Exactly. The more quantity the less quality. I swear by that. My plants only give me what I want, I have complete control over my plants. They talk to me, and I talk to them in silence of course i ain't that πŸ€ͺ. Trust me my bud is higher quality than most growers simply because I sacrifice on yeld in a good way. Believe it or not.

Show me scientific proof of that?

Quality has nothing to do with quantity. It has everything to do with managing every small detail of the grow. It means harvesting when things are finished even if you only harvest half the plant at a time. Quantity has nothing to do with it.

Edit: Yield isn't my focus at all. Yield is actually the results of a well executed grow.

Exactly I take exceptional care of my plants, and again the ADHD + OCD or Autism not sure helps me stay on my game normal brains couldn't possibly stand a chance πŸ˜‰ πŸ‘ 😜

Keep taking that exceptional care or your plants. No matter what training method you choose to use.

When you scrog, you spread the plant out so that more flower sites get ideal lighting. This is why a well executed scrog can produce exceptional yields of high quality weed.

I believe it, but I struggle I tried scrogging but my patience lol and I couldn't stand it looking all weird after tucking and accidentally tearing fan leaves and such led me to undo redo undo redo lol I can't but my method works really well for me I guess I kinda wish I could handle it mentally to see a max out 5'Γ—3' tent could get me like you guy's, but I highly doubt it will happen sadly πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜”

The main reason I scrog is uniformity. Every bud is a top bud...no larf or teeny tiny buds and you dont get one giant bud that molds.

Sure, it may not look as impressive, but I'm not growing for a High Times centerfold either.
In a way, I disagree ... all those top buds in a well maintained scrog are pretty impressive to me 😁

Just like you said ... All top shelf bud, no larf.

Adding the trellis net is a literal "safety net". Take my current grow for instance. I moved my plants out of a 2x2 tent, where the tent walls were helping to stabilize the plants. Literally the weekend I was planning to put in the trellis net, the largest plant fell over and was leaning on the other plants. If I already had the trellis net installed, there would have been no issues.

The plant falling had nothing to do with it being a weak plant though. It was the largest and strongest of the 4 plants by far. They are in 2" net pots that simply could no longer support them. Those net pots were fine for all previous grows because they stayed in the tent.

How much potency was added from the stress of adding the trellis net too late? πŸ™ƒ

My first plant no scrog on the right. Then I found out that the bottom buds are just as fat the way I grow every bud is figgity figgity fat lol it's all personal opinion I believe.

I grow larger plants and I use side lighting for lower canopy development. My last grow, each plant was in tomato cages.

I don't think its so much personal opinion as it is that there's more than one approach that gives great results. You find the method that works well for you and you run with it. Perfect it to the best of your ability.

I know I agree, but it is proven that mainline style plant are second to none on quality as far as a side by side comparison πŸ€” you are probably going to see more frost on the mainline vs the scrog. Besides who wants to untangle cut and trim all that crap lol I small batch intentionally 4-6 max oz a plant more on the lighter side around 3.5 - 4 oz. Is more likely. I do it all I am my plants nature. I like my plants to have plenty of room to breathe lots of air flow since I get super dense ridiculous thickness I can't mess around with moisture issues lol

Scrogging grows pansie plants that need support lol I ain't got time for pansies lol also way better quality. I only need a few oz. a harvest and want the best I can grow.
maybe your forgetting to compensate veg time since when you scrog you usually fill the whole box and without it there are holes?

i did it with just lst and its the same but you have to make a lot of bends.net is a lot faster and simpler i did only 1 grow with it but only thing i would change is double net since as you say buds are soo fat if you move anything they lose their strength to hold them selfe

you should try going allways down and not snaking it top down its easier when you harvest only one cut is needed.each branch comes out of only one hole.

Show me that proof that a mainlined plant is second to none in quality in a side by side comparison?

Yes, they can be but what your saying automatically discounts grower skill. Potency is directly related to genetics and how well the grower handled the grow ... not a particular style of growing.

nothing changes in bud quality if you cut a branch or if you put an obsticle in its growing way.cutting just costs you a week of growth

You have to have a lot of skill + knowledge to do what I do. I have never in my life got an interest and failed to be way better than most people I observe. A guy at work gave me his top shelf that he sells as a vendor, and I didn't even give it 2 stars. Straight trash. But to me all Comercial grade crap is trash lol can we all agree that's why we grow lol never mind, bad example.

2 plants will tightly fill a 3x3 scrog in 45 days veg. I do this 4 times per year. I've done this for 3-4 years. I use a metal screen with 3" holes. I get 100+ top buds in 45 day veg. Check my diaries.

I'm signing off of this thread ... its become a broken record. Best of luck
