On September 8, we had an overnight Low of 37°, the next day my “ethos 10th planet” turned purple in some areas. In the last couple days she has started to wilt. So yesterday I watered it well. Today it is even more wilted. The next thing I noticed was around the drip line of the tree where some rodent tunnels. Before this that plant was happy and healthy. The other plants in the garden are doing well. Any suggestions, thoughts, ideas??
Could it be too much water?

to my mind, since you've watered and it wilted further, and that the others are fine, and you found rodent disturbance, they've gnawed or damaged the main roots to whereas no water uptake occurs, which sucks, such a big beautiful plant, my advice if growing same place next season, identify the size of the culprit and/or tunnels, and dig into the soil a cylindrical wire netting barrier with diameter enough to contain the greater root mass and deeper than their preferred digging depth and plant within this barrier, although I've only grown outdoors once, I've helped countless people down here do so, and this works for surface and subterranean critters, though wont revive your beauty, best of luck with it and the rest.

If anything, it would be not enough water.

I had the same thing happen earlier in the year. Little fuckers ate all the bark of the bottom of three plants, worked their way up the branches too . Get in there and check the very bottom, it’s not real noticeable.
I did dig around the base and didn’t find anything of concern (like your pics). Even exposed some roots, but quickly replaced dirt. The roots I looked at seem ok, but that was just a few near the surface.

A fun sativa outdoor grow. Received 2 seedlings from a friend who was going to dump them. I started in mid June outside in Minnesota. Have an indoor facility to finish inside but going to wait as long as I can.
