Welcome to my second run of ILGM Apple Fritter Autos
My first run of 9 seeds was a real shit show. Lost 2 to seed hull issues and 2 to gnants. One additional plant stalled at 2nd node curled up and died. Hoping to do much better
Specs on run will be:
4x4 400 watt panel with thermo and cloud forge environmental controls on 2 apps. Vivosun app running lights and fans and ACA running temp and humidity. This run I have modified the duct fan to exhaust outside of the 12x10 room with the carbon filter outside. I also have a transfer fan mounted low to pull ground level cool and dry air into the room. this is a small 10x4 duct fan booster made by Vivosun. I have a floor that can move up and down and will set floor at 13 inches up. This smaller volume is easier to control for temp and humidity. Fan control inside is 2 light mounted fans and 2 6 inch sweep fans both on app but this may not workout well. The speed settings will be the same and I do not think the wind needs will be the same for light mounted vrs pole mounted so they will bounce to local control off app. I hate this as the fans in local control have to be reset after power outage.
Tent 2 31x31x63 with 2 140 watt lights with fans. Temp control will be with duct fan 4 inch and humidity is on a Vivosun humidifier that has done fine for drying but now will be on the app. One sweep fan on local control.

Plan will be 8 3 gallon fabric pots on draining bases in the 4x4 and 3 in the 31x31. I will use the 31x31 for stretchy plants that require more light and keep the shorter more light efficient plants in the 4x4.
Training will be pulling and holding down stems as they pop off the main. I am pretty straight on this strain for timing and I have the nutrition plan figured out from the first 4 plant run. The time from preflower emergence to the end of stretch was 4 weeks. As soon as preflower starts I will top plant if it is at 7 nodes. If only at 5 I will let is go 1 week and hope for 6 at least. Main stems after top will be bent over and all stems trained upright for right left and up. Looking for the sickle pattern of growth like this
2 tents and eleven plants autos

I did allow one plant to grow natural last run. It was big and beautiful and not going to happen again😩
Water will be reverse osmosis from a filter. Nutes will be top dress organic at week 2, 5, 7 and flowering handled by foop nutes and Dr earth flower girl. As these plants are nitrogen hogs I have EWC and will be liberal with the use up to mid flower.
Temps will be 80 during seeding and veg tapering down to 75 by mid flower. Lights will be aggressive but will not go over 48dli the whole run. These plants finished much better by trending lights down at the end of the grow. Not a little better like crunchy frost better. From about 43k to 35k the last 3 weeks. Shout out to the Trainwreck for helping with that technique.
IPM a 3 layer defense including honeypot traps at first line. Physical barrier include seals on self closing door and all entries to room on barrier screens. Close in sticky traps and have the standard bug list capt jacks, neem, dia clay ect.
One big boost to IPM is wife found some blue lit gnat traps that work better then I have ever seen. Will be used around the house just not in grow room.
Gnants are terrible this year the grass is full of them and they ride in on the cats.
First 3 plants for drying will go into the 31x31 which will be used for drying unless I make a drying cabinet or make a hacked cannacure box.

Hoping for 3 oz per plant. My last plant from the 4 plant run hit this mark.

Seeds dropping tonight.

Due to circumstances beyond my control this grow has been delayed until today.

Eight 3 gallon pots watered and installed in tent.
Stabilization of tent has taken a day as running a cloud forge with 54 degree water right out of the ro filter was stupid. As soon as the cloudforge came on my heat went bye bye.
Next problem is the 6 inch semi rigid duct work is so much more efficient that my fan profile is useless. I moved the exit point for duct out of the room with carbon filter and the room temp is very stable but when the fan is run on setting 4 it quickly drops the tent to lung room temp in like 2 minutes. Even on number 1 the flow means the thermoforge runs constant and can not keep 80 in the tent. I am trying to decide on a time on/off strategy or I can modify my soffit fixture to reduce flow but that seems stupid. Prolly going to go with 1 hour off 1 minutes on as that will totally turn over the tent air every hour. The problem is that the big light on 25% is not generating much heat. As the grow progresses and the lights come up this will be easier.
Pots installed and watered. Traps and my new blue bug attractors in action. Still have to do some general clean up.
Also stored old dirt from last AF run and will start recycling my fox farms.

A stronger intensity light would help those buds harden if that's what your plan is? 140watts is pretty small for 3-4 plants. Best would be both lights in 1 tent. Good luck i mean no disrespect on the setup your using. My light is only 250watt from the wall but my buds are not fluffy not rock hard but real tight. Plus of course strain and breeder being on point.

400 watts gets me a footprint the whole tent of a minimum of 62,000 lux. Center is 69k.
Running an auto 18-6 would far exceed the DLI of that footprint.
I had to turn down from 52k last run due to some top issues at around hour 14. Lowing to 48k seems to be the high spot for this strain.
Also last run I followed some input from the train on lowering in late flower and they worked well. Best finish of the 4.

When I run photos in this tent it will be with all 3 lights, 700 watts.

Well i messed up reading the first post. I'm sorry i misread it. I hope you have and even better result with this run. Sorry again for misreading you got this!

I am pretty sure it's my nutrition. The last plant got 5 cups of EWC a 2 inch top dress at 2 and 5 and foop nutes at schedule. By going heavy it kept the fans much later.
I am pretty sure the DR earth is going to beat the foop. Plus how freaking easy. Top dress like pepper flakes.

That's why i'm going with mega crop on my next indoor run.

Update
9 seeds popped with 1/4 to 1/2 inch tails. Installed in pots.
Had only pots for 8 but made one up in a jiffy. This pot marked as it was mostly OF cause I was not going to open a new bag of HF for one plant.
Still have 2 more pots and when these launch I will put them in the 4x4 tent and get the 2nd tent going.
Pots are 3 gallon 75% HF with 25% OF and 8 cups perlite.
Divot taken out of pot and a low nute starter soil installed in middle.
Makes 18 out of 20 ILGM pops.

Update
Yesterday am ast 3 seeds popped and installed in 3 gallon pots.

Watered 50 ml all pots this am with 50ml water just out of seed starter pile. Sprayed down tops with mist.
2 seeds have emerged from the dirt. I am numbering these as they come out of the dirt.

Total out of dirt this am 9 seedlings. 2 have one hull remaining. One is just below the dirt level and one is not visible after brushing dirt down.
8 have good coly presentation and one seed hull may have pulled a coly with it.
Watered with 100 ml outside of solo perimeter. Lights at 7800 to 8500 lux. 77 degrees at .7 vdp.

Stability getting better.

10 of 11 have broke ground. Brushed away soil and found seed hull pointing up. Will leave uncovered and hope.
Lost 2 coly leafs with one launching a second set of leafs and still waiting on one.
ACI hiccupped today. Thermoforge stopped working with no message stored or sent. That and the cloud forge stuck on, again with no warning. I got sent a warning to my phone by Vivosun. Nothing was changing on the ACI app until I got home and by then it was stable but it shows on the history trace.

I had the over temp go off in the past and the message was logged. Donno but I am glad I had a backup.

This does not inspire confidence in technology. (g)

10 out of 11 look to be viable. The last plant has stalled and if nothing by noon will cull. All of the other plants have 2 new leafs.
Sprouts between 1 and 2 inches tall.
Will do 7 in big tent and 3 in smaller tent. Will keep all in big tent until closer the the perimeter of the pots than split up.
Lights 8k outer 9.2k inner
Lights raised to 27%
No new gnants on sticky traps inside and only 3 on the new setup outside the tent.
