Gave most of it away. Saved the Afghan for me and Northern Lights for hubby.
It was fun. I really prefer dry sifting to bubble wash but since I may have missed some mold this harvest I'm gonna do more washing and hopefully get rid of any.
I just have to figure a way to dry it in a way that doesn't take up the whole fridge.
I'm in the same boat ... Humidity got me , ruined a bit ..😭 salvaged and washed almost too late . Did some dry sift last year. Super fun ! Plan to do more this year . May actually give the bubble a whirl . Just to try it .

Takes me all afternoon to bubble wash, what with the rinsing the hash, then rinsing the bags, then rinsing the machine.
Yep, got one of those mini washing machines. Works great, but another thing to clean. Akkkk
I need to let the bags dry out thoroughly this year. Pulled last year's out and they had dried mildew all over, so pitched and bought new. Which is great 'cause now I have the all over mesh bags that will hopefully drain faster. Last year's only had the bottom mesh and it took for-ev-er to drain the water through it.
When the temps get back up to 70 later this week, I'm doin it. 😁

Looking at getting the 5 gallon bucket bags ...have any recommendations?

I just got some off Amazon, I haven't used them yet so I can't say if they're good.
The original ones I got from Bubble Bag Dude and they worked great. And I used/use the 5 gallon ones too.
Works best if you have someone to help. As you finish using each bag, they need to be rinsed off and hung to dry. A little tricky if you have to do all the work yourself.
Find GNick's Bubble Hash post and videos, they're very good.

What happened to the ones from bubble bag dude? Get holes in them? The next three weeks will determine whether I need to buy some!

hey i would think about buying the 20 gallon bags and machine or at least the 20 gallon machine if i was to buy one again,. the 5 gallon is too small, bigger machine washes more weed at once,. otherwise garbage can method, you could put a spout at bottom to drain water and do more washes by refilling and adding more ice,. ivv bc dont have a spout on mine but ill leave it for hours in the cold with intermittent stirring,.

Yes thank you ... I checked him out, was trying to locate the garbage can video I saw , way back. Can't find it . Was worried the 5 gallon would be too small But I'm thinking it's worth a try ......😁. Just to get a feel for it .

Edit * just found the video .. 😂 finally #164 thanks so much !!

No, the bags were fine, I messed up and put them away damp. Pulled them out last week and they had dried mildew on them. Threw them out. 🙁

If your harvest is as big as we all think it will be, you'll need the 20 gallon bags. LOL

So, summer is officially at an end. 🙁

I went out back and looked at all the plants. So much damage from the diseases there's nothing worth taking.

I read a couple of articles about fungi and bubble hash and I've decided to toss whatever is questionable. From what I read, the fungus spores and the micotoxins do not wash out when making bubble hash. Some are too big to go through the 45 mesh strainer. So, the Girl Scout Cookies are being tossed. 🙁
I'll have to look at the others alot closer now.

Man you've had too hard of year. Sorry about all of that.

Maybe you could make a qwiso using 99.9 iso and decarbed questionable bud. Reduce it down to goop and put it in your cookie recipe. If you want to go through the hassle.😁 to be honest, eating a little mold doesn’t sound like it’s as harmful as smoking it! Famous last words!😂👍 you’ve got enough stash to last you the rest of your life! Might as well play it safe!

That's what I decided, it wasn't worth the risk.
Unfortunately any solvent extraction will just concentrate the mold toxins. Oh, well. There's always next year.
And yes I still have some bud from 2-3 years ago. Probably not strong anymore, but that's okay too.

I think I'd go buy a roof torch, and super heat that soil. 30 gal propane tank goes quite far. I use one at work for shrinkwrapping boats

Bout the only way to kill all pathogens. Give the ground a fever, kill the germs.

Used to do a lot of torch down roofing. Great way to burn down a house. Used to burn all the hair of my guys legs, that was the fun part!
