I'm reading about GDP croses and see GDP Special, a Gelato 33 x GDP. And I'm looking at the lineage of the strains and I see Girl Scout Cookies xPink Panties to get Sunset Sherbet and Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint Cookies to get Gelato.

Pink Panties: "Bermesse male x floridah kush "back" x Florida kush. Gave her the name #PINKPANTIES because of her amazing pink hairs and her sweet juicy fruit smell.

I look up Gelato and Pink hairs and it tells me I'm an idiot and G33 does not display pink hairs🤔 I was questioning if what I have is really Gelato. I'm good now😉
Yeah but you could be experiencing a phenotypic expression based on environment unique to your plants.

I started with a notebook, definitely got sloppy so since I'm near a computer all the time, I took notes there. Got sloppy again. Turned to AI... I'm on track because I have something to report to. I think had Suzanne still been around I could've gotten her to nag me. But it boils down to I need prompting to get things done. And it probably could be a series of alarms.
I take less notes now though I keep just reacting according to other people's problems and somehow mostly it works out. Having the information is friggin pretty important when you need it though.
Plus weighing the bitch at this point is 20 ties and 3 other pots to move (1st world problems).

That's brave.

A minor problem in this plan to "monster the crop" or what have you... I had thought it was re-veg the whole plant. But no, this is taking flowering clones in week 2 of flower.
How nice that I have no idea what age Carly is. I think flower's been on for a month or so? Is that too late because I would be diving head first into cloning which I have not done. I can get rockwool cubes and gel I think no problem. And then it's chop leaves mid-fat part for transpiration? Humidity dome?
Then how long until back in soil?
So many Questions, unless I can simply revert the entire thing to veg?

I've made monsters two different ways. One is taking the cut at about the 10 day mark after flipping. The other is taking the clipping and rooting it under 12 hours of light. They are a novelty really, nothing more. The amount of time they take to root and reveg doesn't create any grower hack shortcuts. What happens is the budding clone starts to veg and the foxtails wind up becoming a shit load of branches. Doesn't work well with all strains. I'm thinking I would avoid indicas because they grow low and branchy on their own and it was an indica I had problems with. It never fully came out of flower, it has been growing leaves but there's practically buds growing out the nodes and the fat node calyxes featured below might actually have seeds because I had a male in the yard deliberately seeding everything else. So they are either fat "Audrey II" calyxes, or I've got a plant that was actually seeded while in veg. 😲

All over with this people posting "here's how I heard it was done" and "I wouldn't bother but I hear..." and "mixed results", I wonder if it actually doesn't work? I was thinking of intellectual exercise doing it but it seriously smells like Snake Oil.

This is one I'd say you really do have to try out for yourself. I think they're cool as shit.

Next run I'll try sucker bud sites and garbage branches. It's way past 10 days of flower and why accidentally disease it?

I'd say about half the time I do it with a branch I'm not going to miss. The summer run I took from the tops so they'd fit in the screenhouse after the flip. (Kept 2 untopped in the yard). I don't know if it was because they were tops or it was the enhancements I made for my clone box, but those 6 monstered tops rooted in about 10 days, about as quick as regular clones. That's not normal. Expect a typical time of 3-6 weeks for roots, sometimes almost a full 2 months. Hence, not a shortcut hack.

See, this is why I want a service to map your yard like this... and get it to show water flow and deposits of clay and nitrogen sources.... what "makes up" your yard mechanically...

Well... I've gone over it with GPT anyhow lol. It says more or less I'm not only looking for a paid tier of service but I probably want a low end PC running only that. But after that and a shitload of pictures and a dozen soil test kit results... it feels that yes you can almost 100% map the flow of your yard and get written code to animate it.
Sounds like a fun business for someone.

Which should have been included in my search anawers as well as strain lineage showing pink hairs. When i research a strain I'm growing I usually look 2 generations back to see what a pheno may display. I somehow missed the Pink Panties having pink hairs. AI has a long way to go😉

This is what landscapers do when planning a backyard. Going from poor memory, I believe you do a 2-3% slope toward drains on a "flat" backyard. To measure your slope, get a 100 foot length of string and stake it at both ends, then measure the elevation change between the two points. Each foot of elevation change = 1%. This is handy for planning your space so that you won't wind up with pooling water when it rains, or if you're having a problem, what you do to fix it.
