Update.
Low temps and no house heat yet leaves me to support the room with a small ceramic heater. This worked well and raised room 3 degrees in 20 minutes. Now I can run 79 every day. Rest of basement at 66 degrees. Tent ambient radiation gives me 2 degrees but takes an hour. The ACI thermoforge on its best day gets me 7 degrees in my 4x4.

Got small tent cleaned and installed in lung room. Still needs mechanicals but at 10:30 I am done out and reaching for the RSO and a butter cookie.
79 today raised vdp to .9 about 74 % at temp.
Wanted to rebalance lights but will have to wait.

Update.
Zero gnants in 24 hours.
4x4 looking good. Fam photo

It does appear I have a plant not happy and I am assuming it is the heat. My previous run I actually had 3 of 6 plants exhibiting this presentation. Leafs are never upright. Lagging growth and blems on leafs. Last run I reduced heat to 75 for the run and that snapped them out of it but with one plant not happy I can put it in the lower heat tent running at 75.

Here is a spot on plant. I have 4 look just like this one.

We shall see.
.

Random thought.
The more I run this panel in the 4x4 the less I like it for autos. It really has a hot spot that is 20% hotter than the rest of the footprint and it is pretty big like at the plant hight right now it is a 24x30 strip before it trends down.
I will def need all the lights in the 4x4 for photos and this leaves me with an empty tent.
Still love the 300 watt pair in the tent as mounted on the top and adjusted it throws a pattern like a bar light until you start getting close to it.
Would love to move this big panel to the left and get a bar of 300 watts that would do for a 4x2 . Vivosun makes a 240 watt unit but not one that connects to an app. I guess I could look into ACI as I do have that app also.
Fun part. Shopping for grow stuff.

Sigh.
Still fun.

Minding my own business tucking into a nice bowl and get a warning. Low humidity outside tent.
So I verify on a remote sensor it went down to 45 and that makes the cloudforge dump more and that makes the temp drop.
So I run downstairs and look and everything looks fine. Then I remember.
The room I am in has a cold register intake. Goes right to the heat pump. This morning was 63 in the house and that's a bit too low and was trying to give me an asthma attack so I turned the heat up.
Duh. I knew this. I made a panel backed with felt to block it but I am high a lot sooooo.
Anyways while policing the panel in place I bumped a outlet plug. Instantly lights out in the tent. Did I just pop a breaker?
Well at first it looks like it took out the 4 bay surge strip in the tent for fans and the lights. One bay of it was dead for the fans. So I saw out another older more broken up strip and it works. Back to bowling.

Then another alert temp Inside 83 degrees.
The duct was also on the strip but the cord fell down behind the tent. The light was plugged in so the controller had a source and started working without the power from the duct fan.
Everybody has power now. Back to stable .05 VPD wave.

Idea post it note.

Combination self watering bottom feed drain base with remote rotation ability and a built in scale to weight the pot.

Holding pattern with minimal changes.
Moved 4x4 to veg position today and set at 41%. Highest pots which have a little stretch showing at 13500 lowest at 12500.
Moved up to 1.0 vdp reduced humidity to 68% at temp.
31x31 doing ok and little thing growing.
I do see some additional smaller plants throwing blems and each one is lagging. It is the smallest of the plants and I think they are showing stress from the nemitode fix. It is a requirement to keep the soil moist or the todes die out. Much like the neem drench from last run I did expect this as I really have not had a dry cycle in 6 days.
This is always the problem with insect treatments. Even done properly they will stress out a plant. Last neem treatment had 25% fatality in the tent but they were much smaller.
Note to self. The 2 runs I had were almost identical for gnants. When they are small treat with lots of sticky traps to slow down the gnants and wait until week 2 of normal growth to treat. This will reduce or eliminate damage and falling off of young plants. However for my grow I am going to get the tent running for 10 days and neem drench the fresh pot every launch.

Update
big day today with everyone getting 1 cup of ewc and 2tbs of dr earth gold organic. Watered 500lm and inspected.
my blem problem turned out to be wind burn. Not bad as it just looked like a blem and of all things its the duct fan.
i made an upgrade to the duct system with semi rigid which very much increased the airflow. also had to shut off one sweep fan as when they coincide together on one plant it really blows hard.
All plants placed on drain trays and with 7 in big tent moved plants around for 15k lux +- not enough to mention. vdp at 1.1 to get some water moving.
smaller tent smaller plants 12500 lux and 1.0 vdp

Update.
Spent the morning moving environmental controls around and installing air panels and removing air panels bla bla bla.

Even went through last run numbers and pics to see where shit was. Matching it did not help. Finally as a test ran the thermoforge all the way around the tent to basically come up the front wall diagonal across from the air intake from the basement.
This has me settled down to a nice. 07 vdp wave.
Need to be made more durable of an install but this works for up to 82 degrees. Control up and down the temp scale 70 to 79 daily within .07 of 1.1 vdp
No plants shake all the time. Only very intermittently and just found out ...... Ummm.......heheh the Vivosun apparently has a better sweep than I was aware. Pretty much fully adjustable even under local control.
4x4 lights 43% 16k almost level.
31x31 lights notch 2 12k all
75 degrees 65%

Day 3 since service. .7 lbs of the 1.1 I put in the pots has evaporated. Not ready yet.
4x4 moved lights to 47% 18k at tops.
Everybody growing 6th node..
One squat plant looking like a gumba. No more room in small tent.
31x31 at notch 2 on lights. Next step is over 18k so will get a riser under the trays.

Apple fritter Auto Day 23 above dirt.

5 days for drying out after the nemitodes. Kept the top of the pot wet for 12 days for the todes and holding my breath.
1 random Gnant on a sticky
6 on outside the tent traps.
Watered 750 ml all pots in 4x4. Leaf tucked a few but none are to the growth point where lst fixtures would be supported by these tiny plants. I have 4 plants growing the 7th node and when we get some separation will top.
At the bottom of the plant the single leaf had produced a node on 3 of the plants. Soooo tiny.
IMG 20251030 074549506 HDR

I can not remember if these do or go anywhere. Will let them go for now but they better get with the program.
Lights at 50% 20k at tops 18.5 lux for one plant and that's the little squat plant.
79 tops 1.1 vdp averages 65% rh.

Also if anybody knows just what is wrong with me chime in. Here I am 25 days in and I have never lost a plant this far in. So of course I am thinking about data. My brain wants to top 5 and fimm 5 for data. My brain wants to run 5 on foop and 5 on Dr Earth flower girl. My brain need to stfu and let me just grow weed this run.

I mean in theory you can top autos but I find it a bit risky and with mixed results but I think some people can do it consistently or claim to but I have no reason to believe theyre lying cause theyre usuals from the forum. In any case I would top 1 and see how it goes, it highly depends on the strain and health, healthy they are indeed but who knows how the strain might react.
As for the gnats, if you get some bacillus thuringiensis you should be set. It comes in many microorganism mixes, which one are you using if any? Maybe its already in there. I find it better than nematodes because nematodes die when there's no gnats and then they might appear again while bacillus thuringiensis feeds like any other bacillus from organic matter, it just so happens that it releases a protein that kills larvae trying to munch on the roots, it doesnt pray on them it just kills them.

I have 4 plants in history on this strain. I have the adds spot on and I both topped and untopped these plants.
The untopped plant went nuts and was a ballistic missile. The first 2 topped plants did not do well with my training as the stretch petered out before I could get where I wanted them. The middle plant that was topped did ok. It was 8 inches shorter that the untopped let here ride plant so I am going this route.
The fox farms soils I start with have the nutrient and baccilous load I need and I do not add for this component.
I am now read over prolly 500 diaries and journals and a half dozen masters thesis on cannabis. I have numerous parts of growing pot that I still have to learn. One of the things I learned is that companies like to sell bottles of nutes and chemicals for profit. My choices of what I put in my pots seems to be working pretty good.
Thanx for the reply.
Also I see you have the same problem I do. Always wanting to do stuff just to see. I really need to get a hold of my brain and give it a big shake sometimes. 😎

Unfortunately while fox farms has a few bacillus, it doesnt have bacillus thuringiensis, which is the only one that kills gnat larvae.
I see, so youre gonna top them or not? I didnt get which route youre gonna take hahaha. Let them ride or toping? I like them short, but yes I had a few bad experiences toping autos and getting airy buds while the others made regular tight buds.
Yes we have the same problem hahahaha indeed, every grow Im like "okay no bullshit this time, no fucking around" and then mid grow Im always changing my mind. I was gonna do a no touch grow, no defoliation no nothing, not even a net. Im with the net passing branches through now and today Im gonna defoliate 🤣 just a tiny bit to get better light and airflow and remove shade from some bud leaves.
Fuck I even toped 3 plants in flower, first time but they were getting dangerously tall for the small indoors. Everything went okay and theyre not behind thankfully.

Also about the companies, 100%. Sometimes its legit sometimes its not, thats why Im always looking for ALL the ingredients of every nute I choose and if they dont list them good luck to them, Im not buying it. I also grow using my super soil so I dont need as many liquid nutes as I needed before, specially if I start them in light soil and then prepare a badge of fairly hot super soil for the transplant, in those instances I can go most of the grow without any liquid nutes but if I plant from seed in big pots I need to be more careful with the ammendments.

A lot of my setup and routine is based on my physical limitations. I need to be able to lift the pot out of the tent and put on a stand to work on it. Bending over into a tent will not work. That's why I have a floor in the tent that goes up 7/13/20 inches up as needed. I also can not reach very far so need 3 doors or I could not fill the tent.
The autos here are a big test for me. I need to see if these are a viable yield between the 10 plants as I have already grown a really frosty very potent very smokeable bag using these seeds. If so it lets me be assured that If I try 4 photos in the 4x4 and it turns out I can not handle that much work I would then fall back on bonsai pot plants to fill the medical needs I have.

ANy reason you do 0% lst? And why vpd at 1.w why not 0.8?

Previous runs of this strain have shown it enjoys a higher transperation rate.

I have done training. Today I tucked leafs 😎

They are tiny plants. The pot is 3 gallons. I put a fixture on it it would pull the plant over. 😂

Ps all of this is in the diary.

YEa mine are old as yours only difference is the lst.

Yea i read the whole diary this morning but i was just wondering even one simple bend would generate 2 -4 extra branches.

Well sorry that i spammed in your diary good luck!
