Started cleaning up the bottoms. Not
going to do a full lollipop, but I want
unimpeded airflow underneath of these
girls.
These get strong airflow directly on
them and underneath with 4 - 6" clip-
ons. A small ceramic heater will be on
during dark to try and lower nighttime
rh.
Funny how well these grow when I'm
doing everything wrong: Too hot, res
too warm, vpd way too high, rh too
high/low, light pwr too high, lights
too close, too much wind on plants,
pots too small, continuous feed
during lights on, pin holes in tent, DLI
too something.... No, I'm not worried
that the temp/rh probes aren't
shaded; as long as it's between 70 &
100f, I'm good with it. No early topping,
training, or torture - np. And I'm sure
there's other things that I do wrong as
well....
Point being; is that they are weeds
and can readily adapt to many
different environments and growing
methods and I think that stressing
too much over it is pointless. If these
would have grown any better &
without the early problems, the big
cali's would be through the ceiling
by now, with this much veg time.
When I grow from clones, they'll be
flipped after 5-7 days veg on the
slabs and will still grow to the lights.
I am still worried that the small
pot size is going to end up screwing
me before the end of this cycle...
I just have fun with it. The more
fun I have, the better they seem to
do.

edit: Those are fungus gnats on the
sticky traps. I have mosquito dunks
in the reservoir, plus I've sprayed
capt jacks. I don't know what else to
do. No such problems with rockwool.
