I as well have it on my list.....maybe this winter in my tents.....I have 2 sexting tents.....so if one is a boy....may introduce one of the ladies.....anyone know the answer to this question....if you have a male pollinating....and you introduce a auto in flower.....would the seeds on the auto be ....auto or regular???

I actually heard you get 50/50 some regs and some auto but I don’t know for sure. I always wondered in order to get feminized autos will it have to be the same process with colloidal silver on an auto plant for it to self pollinate ? I was also wondering if you do the male pollen on an auto will it produce male autos and is that even a thing ? lol it’s a lot of questions that are hard to get answers to on YT.

If you do colloidal silver on an auto, you get feminized seeds. You get regular auto seeds you can cross an auto with a male, doesn't necessarily mean it will take on the traits of an auto unless you back cross it with the original auto strain. Autos come from multiple sources. There are many different sources you can do research on and dig in on this exact topic.

It really depends on the length of flower and strain. I usually shoot for right before halftime in flower. About 4 days before the middle. And usually I go for a lower of one of the main colas. (Gets most energy to fully develop the seed). If you use lower buds the seeds shell is fragile, and it won't develop properly, so you end up with a bunch of empties. This is the result I have from back crossing nerd creamer (blue nerdz x sherbet cream pie bx2.) at least that's what I call it View attachment 2562187

Ok cool, plant looks good btw. I did mine around 30 days into flower. I was hoping I didn’t do it to early. I can already see the Calyx sacs forming. So I think I did it right. When they wake up I’ll post a photo

Yea I’m going to tackle the basic breeding first then gradually work my way into that. It sounds difficult now because I’m still new to breeding. I know what back crossing is but I know it takes a couple generations to truly get what you want in terms of stability

You should be ok. Hopefully you pollinated one of the tops. Even still you will still at least have some fully developed seeds. You will see your success rate when you go to sprout your seeds. Using a 1% hydrogen mixture when doing germination increases germination rate and success. If you buy a this it is a game changer for seeds.

Thanks appreciate that once it’s time to harvest I’ll look into this product. Yes I did do the top colas since they get the most energy and light. Initially I was doing lower buds because I wanted to isolate the pollen from un pollinated buds but I ended up leaving the female next to the male so I just sacrificed the whole plane

You will have a ton of seeds lol. The bud is still usable. You can run it through bubble bags or if you have an extraction unit of some sort. Just pick as many seeds as you are willing too out of it. You can then smoke it, decarb for edibles. Or even just break it all down for rolling (not what I would do lol)
