People have been worried since Timothy Leary won.

Leary v. United States, 395 U.S. 6 (1969), is a U.S. Supreme Court case dealing with the constitutionality of the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937. Timothy Leary, a professor and activist, was arrested for the possession of marijuana in violation of the Marihuana Tax Act.
I'm old so it is my responsibility to present my experiences in this life as is any elder of the tribe.
The thing was you had to have a tax stamp to grow cannabis but to get that tax stamp you had to bring is said cannabis and when you did bring it is without a tax stamp you were guilty of a crime.

Dude I don't know how old you are but they were worried long before that. Remember this one?

That is a valid construct:

I am aware that prohibition had ended and all those white men in that service faced layoffs.
So as the story goes and like I am going to write a book here, Anslinger targeted the immigrant dock workers who were the Blacks and the Hindus. Now am I Wikipedia no I am not so yes, Anslinger went State to State to get the Good-Herb turned into the new prohibited. Thus saving so many White Men their jobs.

Jolly jolly for us today no?

So yeah racism is why the Good-Herb is illegal and Schedule One.
Back then that "Devil Music Jazz" and the idea of White Women making babies with Black Men was a politically-kinetic resonance.

So It made it's way to Schedule One.
The Anslinger took his show on tour World Wide and we have treaties around the world Anslinger made Base.

Okay, I am more into being entertained than entertaining now. So catch Y'all later.

Well, what is and has been true?
What does even Rand Paul not get onboard with?
That's right Cannabis Freedom for Mom and Pop.
It seems to me that the whole WTF is about how to divide up the commercial aspect while keeping the people in cannabis-chains.
It's not news that money is involved. Laws against cannabis and other drugs make trafficking them more lucrative. I'm sure politicians love untraceable money from black markets. I suspect the current administration looks longingly at that money. I also suspect Mitch McConnell wants to regain revenue from lost liquor sales due to the tariffs.

You know.. How is it to be valuable in a store if any one can grow it.
It's valuable in stores because most people can't or won't grow it.

Does anyone have the section or a link to hemp portion that was put in the bill stating seeds are going to banned or outlawed? I have seen plenty of people saying it but nothing in writing or a lawyer interpretation of this portion. I read Bitch mcconel was the one sneaking it in before it passed. However the section # I was given wasn’t even the hemp portion when I went searching.

You hit the nail on the head there. I just read an article ( I'll try to find it and post a link) that said even though the law does mention seeds that will produce plants that are over .3% thc there is no way to tell unless you grow out the seed. The seed itself has no thc and there is no genetic test to tell what it will produce so the law will be unenforceable and the wording will probably be changed before the law is implemented. As far as I'm concerned there is nothing to worry about except seed company's trying to make a profit from the panic
My understanding is its only illegal if the flower is above 34-35% THC.

2019 was a great year for the Governments stealing money.
That was the first year that property forfeit actions without filing criminal actions surpassed all theft from bank and retail robbery and theft.
Let that sink in. The government took more money from the population than criminals did.
Trillions..!! To be exact. To be real about it... they've been stealing from us for way longer than most could fathom.

Funny thing...our forefathers told us that'd we'd have to clean out those in government completely, every 30 yrs. to keep a control on just this very thing.... corruption, and tyrant's.

Once they learn the system, they'll steal all the can. Just look at their wealth.....on a fixed salary.

If anyone else were to make millions in 4-8 yrs. only making 154k a year, fixed..... we'd be looked at under a magnifying glass, then arrested, and all personal things seized. aren't "WE THE PEOPLE" the true government, and those in office our (hired/elected employees).

If we're up to me, we'd be dragging these people out of their beds and into the streets for a hanging party, to remind those in office who actually is the government of America, and why.

Ok...I'm good, now. ☮️

Since this is a thread about government incompetence and corruption I have thought about what the biggest mistake in the foundation of our country.
We have a bill of rights that has no teeth.
A violation of the bill of rights is almost always a government or is done at government directions.

Now when you make a law that can end in sanctions for the guilty party the law stipulates incarceration and monetary penalties.
For " some " reason they thought the legislature was going to fix this.
Big mistake.
The bill of rights should have been written spelling out the penalties for violation of the amendment.
To allow the very people who are going to violate these rights to set sanctions is the most idiotic thing our founders ever did.
It should have been thus
Amendment 1
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The penalty for a government official violating the rights of the people shall be removal of office holder and imprisonment for not less than 10 years and complete restitution of all payments made to the office holder.
Or some such.
I prefer a more harsh penalty.
I have always loved the term hung by the neck until dead.

We learned in 2022 from the Twitter Files the government was partnering with social media companies to restrict our 1st Amendment rights and I'm still waiting for arrests and trials that will never come and also prefer the term, hung by the fking neck until DEAD!🤬

Just read this from Marijuana Moment and came here to share:

Ok twitter files are now exhibit 1
Let's build the case.

What's sad about it as @JIMKSI64 said, a lot of us in those retirement years aren't using it just to be a pothead. We do have a reason. BTW brother my Feminized Auto Maverick CBD seeds came in so my next reversal plan is those. Those will not be part of the ban 😉 ✌️
I just came across the video again. Everyone needs to listen to this:

It's a pleasure to read everyone!

Trump has pardoned Juan Orlando Hernández, the former president of Honduras,
He was convicted of importing TONS of Cocaine into the USA.

We all need to see that Trump administration is killing the little people in boats and freeing the Bosses.
In my opinion Trump is attempting to get into the drug trade down in South America and not actually stop drugs.
Why else would he free a guy that can help him become a Narco-President?
I mean the guy owes Trump bigly!

So the War on Drugs is not only back but the administration looks to be muscling their way into all that money.
We all know drugs will stop when Americans don't want them but until then drugs are an industry like all other industries.

And now are we seeing our President inserting himself in the flow of drug-money?

Let us fight to free Mom and Pop growers in our States.

I watched it. Again it seems like hearsay. The lawyer guy Florida Mike posted didn’t mention that, but then again he’s a lawyer for corporations looking to profit. I would like to see the actual bill and read it to make my own interpretation.

I found a farm portion on the government website but it had nothing about cannabis or hemp. All my searches result in opinionated websites without any links to the actual bill.
I did find this from leafwell which seems to be a site to obtain medical licensing.
“The most notable cannabis-related change is the omission of the Rohrabacher-Blumenauer Amendment. This amendment has prohibited the Department of Justice (DOJ) from interfering with state medical cannabis laws, and has been included in every federal spending bill since 2014.

This omission potentially exposes state-compliant medical cannabis providers and patients to federal enforcement. However, the DOJ has not announced any intentions of using said federal enforcement.”

The same party that says they are going to legalize every election cycle and never makes any attempt? Those guys? Unfortunately because of citizens united, corporations are people, both sides are bought and paid for by the same corporations.
