where is the old school skunk

Unfortunately you are incorrect. The genetics test speaks for it self this is the real deal Original Skunk. I gave this cut to Sunshine Seed Co recently. I also had a famous grammy winning record producer confirm this is what he remembers. How do I know...

How do I know this is the real deal? Because this is the genetic profile for David Watson's Skunk #1 cut he submitted. It is more pure than even his cut which leaned to be sweeter. His also has other components. https://phylos.bio/sims/variety/CRT-1108/david-watson/skunk-1

For what it’s worth. My Growmie just did Cali Connect Sour D. organic in late flower the smell triggered her presence. Yrs back I found the structure in skunk 2. think pulling her back from her first geneticmixtures is our best bet to fill all the boxes. I know I tested it mixed with widow in mid 90’s some say NL. I do know what is sold as skunk needs a workout.
Most skunk was from Mexico according to early importers. I even had the guy from The Square Grouper documentary on Netflix confirm this. If you want to know about Skunk talk to the early smugglers like Mad Jag. He was one of Sams earliest customers. He has a whole blog out about it. I verified the Madjag skunk sample was in fact not skunk. Madjag recently sent me seeds of Magna Rosa also.

Ive just shown you three different skunk samples and mine is the purest.

I’m growing Time Machine from eclectic genetics and it may be what you’re looking for.
Stinks to all high hell like a skunks ass.
8-10 weeks flowering.
From the breakdown I read it goes back to old school high hence “Time Machine”.
I’m on week 8 and can’t wait.

Keep er green🙌

Even OG kush can be skunky like the East Bay OG Kush cut is skunky. Verified cut holder. My friends say it smells like skunky spray. Not so much with the taste. My 88 Skunk is skunky taste and smell.

This is why we put together the site 321MBT.com to talk about the skunk molecule. We're diving into the chemistry of cannabis aroma — the sulfurous soul of Skunk #1. This is pure science. Educational only.

Guy, all your science and shit doesn't matter)) In my country, I've defeated your methods, and now I'm enjoying myself. Just calm down and observe.🤣🤣

Your posts are non productive and insultingly stupid!

Agreed, one problem at a time🤪
forest guy is off his rocker most times,.
original skunk guy is just like anyone else looking for the skunk, though that sam guy was a fraud,.. just like nasa saying we can’t go to the moon because we lost the technology hahaha no one has ever been to the moon and the fields that the landrace strains came from to create it were burnt down and destroyed than replaced,. the name skunk was created for when big money will start claiming rights too genes etc,. can’t wait to see who claims skunk? haha,.
so glad i don’t care about skunk, never have and never will,.
look at phylos and the money backing them after collecting data from growers since 2014 now there coming out with their own strains??

and just a question when trying to find skunk plants, are the growers using metal halide and high pressure sodium or led lights? as there’s a big difference and leds weren’t around back than,.

I can only go by my experiences, I was a 1970’s Humboldt grower, I remember when skunk was developed in the early-mid 70’s about the same time as sinsemilla and Indica, it was an Indica/sativa cross. It took over immediately, guys were getting 5k/lb (in the 70’s) for top shelf skunk. I have searched and probably bought 6-7 different current strains that claim to be “skunk”, well they are all weak sauce at best. Nothing like the old school skunk. The old skunk was so potent you could smell it in a car in the driveway, when cruising the back roads in fall, you could smell it for miles! I’ve made several trips to my old stomping grounds, and contacted all my old contacts (that are still alive)l, hit up every dispensary in the county (and there’s a LOT of them), and I can sadly say “The skunk is dead!” I can also say that back then there were few recognized strains, skunk was skunk, when people say it was a cross of this strain and that strain, that’s not correct, because those strains didn’t exist in the 70’s. In fact those later crosses were the death knell of skunk, they might of gotten higher THC levels (though at the time skunk THC levels were among the highest), but they bred out the terpenes for skunk!

I’m using HPS,
It’s a crap chute,
And unfortunately I think @Phyto is correct in his life experience, but to no avail, I will keep pressing forward and hopefully find something that slightly reminds me of my younger years experimenting with marijuanas and hashish😜

Nick, back then (1970’s) almost all of the grows in Humboldt, Mendocino, and Trinity counties were outdoor grows. Sometimes smaller growers (like me) used outdoor greenhouses. Very few grows were under lights, HPS lights for growing were pretty new then.

Back then there were basically 2 choices for lights, fluorescent (very few grows spectrums were available) which were expensive and had to be replaced often, or incandescent, my first grow light (that I used once) was basically a 150 watt floodlight with a bluish coating inside the bulb, and it grew horrid, leggy weed! The bulbs were like $7 ea. which was a lot in 1970, especially for a starving student!
