No such 'skunk' strain.......original smelly 'skunk' was a combo of 2 or 3 landrace strains.....created the 'skunk' smell and flavour

Who knows when and how many people crossed those with whatever and created which of the commercialized 'skunk' strains.

Merry Christmas 🌲
The old Humboldt skunk was a sativa/indica cross, there weren’t many strains then. I don’t think anyone knows what strains it came from. I remember when Indica first showed up, it was a game changer, it adapted well to the climate. At the time in Ca only sativa was illegal, not indica. There was a case in which one of my professors going to be an expert witness. Guy got caught with a lot of ready to sell weed, his defense was that it was Indica, not Sativa, my professor was going to testify that it was impossible to tell the difference between Indica /Sativa once it was dried and trimmed. Looked like the “species defense” was going to work so the prosecutor dropped the charges. The next week the legislature added Indica to the cannabis law.

Merry Christmas to you too!

I see... Well, then, make yourself comfortable, because next year, the seed banks will be bursting with anger.🤭

Look up Dunning-Krueger syndrome, you’re the poster child!!
You're all doctors, I've already figured that out. But good doctors don't make diagnoses over the internet. You're probably a genius. But not everyone is as smart as you.But I still don't understand what you disagree with.🤣🤭

Skunk doesn't grow well with regular fertilizers, which is why it smells. It's all a myth. Either tell me about the plant's biology or keep quiet. That's what I think. Just because something is written doesn't mean it's true.
Still waiting for your “proof”. What you say is an unsubstantiated claim. BTW, the Humboldt soils are notoriously poor, so they didn’t use it, they dug holes and used non native soil (manufactured/ homemade). They also used fertilizers.

I'll have proof. I already have a plant that's different from any hemp. You don't have that. And it's a pollinator. We'll get it soon, and I'll explain. Are you in a hurry? I'm not getting paid for this. So I'll do what's convenient for me.

Let’s see it! What makes it different? Nothing I’ve seen from you so far looks any different from regular cannabis.

You're not paying attention. Find a plant in your garden with a rounded stem and branches.I'm not ready to explain the same thing 10 times. I'm not arguing, I'm just telling you.

Show us a picture! I haven’t seen anything you’ve posted that’s out of the ordinary. In fact, what I’ve seen you post is pretty average looking.

You can study it yourself in the history, or you can wait for me to show it again. I'm not getting paid extra for teaching you, so I'm just wasting my time typing this message.

I looked at your pics, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Show us a pic or go home. Round stems are nothing out of the ordinary.

The other one knows what I need to do. Okay, take a picture of the stem at the top first, and then I'll send you mine. Try to make it clear. Otherwise, we won't have anything to compare.

You don't have anything to compare to, just post the pic, or I know you're trolling. You said to look through the history and that you already posted it, but you didn't.

The hemp stem is upright, rounded at the base, hexagonal in the middle, and four-sided at the top, and has a cavity.
Listen, you're a weak opponent. Here's a description of hemp. Here's a round stem on top of the plant. Moreover, this plant produces 3-4 seeds in a single capsule, and the male flowers grow directly from the capsule.

Instead of arguing and proving something without evidence. Join in and watch. I don't think ph measurements are more interesting.I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know about this plant at all. I didn't know about it either at first. So I don't blame you, but again, before you judge, make sure you can carry on a conversation at the appropriate level. And preferably with pictures.

What I see is a picture of a "nanner" type hermie. Nothing special. Certainly not a "new kind" of cannabis. In fact, that's a trait (hermie) I would breed against, not encourage.

You find me a plant like this first.🤣Then you'll say, "See, it's nothing special."
It's not just a special plant, it's a plant with an exceptionally psychoactive effect. Nothing more. No high rises or rocks.

I have more evidence, but I'm tired of talking about it every day. When I'm done with my work, I'll tell you everything again.

Dunning Krueger. It's just a phenotype. I've grown northern lights that looked just like that, though mine was more female and had less nanners, but it had round whispy stems with just single /double caylxes and nanners along an 18-24 inch thin stem.

You're asking for proof, but all you're saying is words. I'm ending this conversation. It's not productive. But you can still follow. I'll explain everything, and you can express your doubts.
