Both filling out nicely, still reaching and just about out of height - only a few inches away in some cases.
I can still bend a bit, try to get them away from the light - if they cant handle it (start to foxtail)
Little leaf trimming everyday - uncovering budsites or useless dying stuff from underneath. But my biggest cuts have been the clones, otherwise mostly intact.
Ive named them both - as theyve continued to diverge.
Bummer Dan
Tough to see in the pics, but the structure on this one is amazing (I wish the smell was too, but still pretty mild) The budsights are so close together, most of these branches will be just foot long buds.
and
Slippery Dan
Darker, broader leaves - stronger smell, fruitier flavor than Bummer Dan. Larger single buds but sparser growth. More like the males I grew by accident earlier.
Got some clones going for both. They should live stunted at 12/12 until I can grow them out later and seed them or whatever, maybe in the spring.
And, I had some pollen in the freezer from august - autoflower male from outside - I figured Id (very carefully) use a little before it went bad. So I dusted a few buds to see what happened.
I think - because these plants have the same recessive auto genes - it could bring the auto back out(?) Right?
Big plans are piling up for next seasons outdoor I guess.
