The results of yesterday‘s Press! 15.25 g! Kind of disappointed in the yield, but when you’re dealing with land race, all bets are off! But very happy with the quality! And that’s always the bottom line! I likes black balls! Black balls matter!😆View attachment 2593315
Just curious. Did you weigh the buds you used to make this 15+grams? I'm just thinking on if there is some kind of expected ratio bud/hash one should expect? Granted I know it's dependent on trich density of the buds but an offhand average may be useful.

From Gnicks info a 5 gallon bucket got 5.5 oz of Hash.
From my readings and watching it was never weighed.
I also am interested but not enough peeps do larger amounts to really document weights by reading diaries and journals.
Most hash I read about is washing in cold water with smaller amounts.
Now pressing. Lots of guys have pressing numbers but I have not tried to maf it out.

I thought about weighing it, but there’s so much difference between each plants bud that the results will be all over the map anyway! When sifting, you can keep reworking the material over and over again until you achieve your desired results! Like Nick did! When washing, especially in a garbage can it’s pretty much a one and done thing and you live with the results! I’m still learning the washing thing! Still tweaking the method! I do weigh my input material making butter! I want to make sure there’s at least 6 ounces of material to go with 3 pounds of butter! Wouldn’t wanna short it! With washing, I just throw a bunch of material in, shake it up, and see what comes out the other end! And then shake it again and again! And we’ll save up the dregs and wash them by themselves! I found you get a pretty good return there! I don’t know if there is a standard return on investment when washing hash! I won’t come close to touching what Nick gets! But what I do get will be landrace hash, and that is the point of growing all of this stuff! This really isn’t very pretty bud in the modern weed sense! It’s grown to make hash! Keep things interesting!👍

Tell you one thing for sure chucky the Mexicans don’t make hash with there weed they make bricks
You have a 15g ball of some rare landrace pushed to the max quality vs quantity enjoy your hard work smoking doobies 🫶🏻🪴

It’s supposed to be in the 80’s this weekend in New York. That’s inside.

It's only going to be in the 70's in the great white north.

Time to set up summer in a month or so. In the mean time Sinai from Real Seed Co. is a good indoor strain Chucky.

Yeah, that looks like a good indoor strain and it looks like you’re doing a good job of growing it! Supposed to be a special high! Can’t wait to see what you think! Kudos to you for taking the road less traveled! There was a guy growing Sudanese indoors about a year ago, but I think he flamed out and disappeared! Don’t see many people willing to take a walk on the wild side by growing land race indoors! I wish I could grow indoors but $.37 a kilowatt hour kind of precludes that! Good job!😍🍻

Thanks Chucky.

This plant is very little smell in the house and it's almost a rose scent. Very nice.

Electricityprice

I checked our electric rates and off peak it's 17.5 cents, but on peak is between 24 and 37 cents.
Still, I'm doing it. But not in the summer. That's when it gets expensive.
I hear you! Out here, autos, and indoors really aren’t necessary! I’ll bet that entire outdoor grow last summer set me back less than 200 bucks! Probably gonna spend more on ice to process it than I did to grow it! 200 bucks not including the beans! They were probably somewhere around 150!

Another 24 g in the bank! Sinaloa! And I think you were right Nick! Not much gets past that 45 except contaminate! Not worth restricting the flow of water with a 25! Back to washing this week!View attachment 2594872
Looking real fine! They must of fixed the problem with the server, this is first time I've been able to log on in a couple days!

Yeah, it was down for a few days! Was kind of a wake up call that I’m spending too much time screwing around here instead of cleaning up this dump!😂🍻 Heard some croaking coming from the pond last night! Prepare for a frog and toad orgy! Right on time! Right around the full moon in February! These things can get loud!
