Wanting to get to were I can harvest two plants every month and that should

I doing all my moves at the turns of the Sun (Solstice and Equinox) but 12/21 rolled around and I had nothing ready to flip, so it sure makes an argument for popping a couple seeds a month. I had 3 monstered plants that were too wonky with hormone stress still. I also have a permanent pheno I'm keeping and if I were smart, I'd root 2 clippings a month from her to guarantee perpetuity. The turns of the sun thing is because I'm doing it outdoors.

It's difficult but not impossible, although planting 2 seeds a month and hoping for 2 plants to harvest 3-4 months latter? GOOD LUCK! You need to plant 5+ Fem seeds maybe to get to 2 or so in 3 months.

I just took down 3 for smoke. I'll take down 3 more next month if bugs, critters, thieves or who knows what deprives me of my hard work. You know hard work, while getting high🤣 and I do grow a bit😉

Are you planning to grow autoflower strains? An advantage of autos is not needing separate vegetation and flowering tents. I prefer to grow photos and haven't been able to setup separate tents.
I'll pass on the autos I like the photo fems

you mean photos 12/12 from seed?
i know it would vary but how much could i expect from that?
Too variable to give a solid answer. Can you control everything? The room size and different lighting it would take?

Same strain would probably both flower together, not always. 2 a month on the first or 20th. Either way the plants would be small, half oz to an oz or 2, maybe.

Strain, grow method, IPM, etc so many variables.

She'll come down Valentine's Day and will be #4 this month. She looks to be about 2 oz dried and cured.

I try and harvest 2-4 a month, right now. Clones that run about 2-3 oz. It's difficult, time and space constraints and all. I'm outside with 1 lighted greenhouse for vegging and a new one for flowering. It's a lot of work but You have to adapt, overcome😉

no. Sprout In wet paper towel then put in solo for first 30 days then put in to a 1 gallon for 30 days then put in a five gallon and put in flower tent and keep that up for as long as u can and u pull two plant a month maybe they may take a few extra weeks in flower it still work I think. I'm sure a lot of work but I got nothin else to do

Look good u don't train them or top them ? I'll be happy with 3 oz per plant I could make it try the month with 6 oz lol

Hi Mikey
I have been thinking along the same lines, starting one plant a month. Grow room on 12/12 permanently for flowering and the new seedling in a 1 litre pot on the window sill for a month then put a grow lamp in part of the wardrobe on 16/8 and transfer it to there in a larger pot for a month before putting into grow/flower room. Monthly harvest of one plant, the wardrobe shouldn't need a fan for veg, smell gets strong in flower and mold shouldn't be a problem in veg.
I put 2 seeds soaking yesterday and the 2 plants in the grow room should be ready end of this month. But then I will have to switch to 16/8 again because I haven't got the veg Room in the wardrobe yet. Ideally you need 2 grow rooms. Different as summer comes you can veg outside.

They sprouted and are in dirt in solo cups in the propagation tent ( that's a awful big word for me to use probably not even right word haha) my new 2x4 will be here today and will set up when I need it in 30 days or so for a flower tent

I grow mainly clones and they bush up pretty well but I don't have time to do much else with them other than fertigate them 3 x's a day by hand.

I grow 24/7/365 outdoors in coco coir and until I set up auto watering again I'm a slave to my plants. It’s very time consuming AND I also grow veggies like tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, broccoli, cabbage etc, depending on the time of year, also in coco.

At one time I got into growing autos hoping for a continuous grow/harvest but the autos, imho didn't live up to the high of regs so gave up on those.

The past couple years I grew some trees, 6-10+ footers but I have a bad back and just can't sit for hours manicuring so I'm just keeping and flipping a few clones a month. It's working well as I give a lot away to people suffering from cancer and still have a couple large bags for me and I smoke a LOT and infuse a lot into oil. I smoke pretty much all day when I'm home and I'm retired.

I would seriously consider 3 or more fem seeds at a time as invariably one seed will be small and weak or even start out deformed. When I start from seed, usually for breeding and/or cloning I start no less than a dozen or two and whittle it down to the best 2 or 3 and keep another just for smoke. Sometimes I don't end up with a pair that I find good enough to bother breeding or cloning.

It's a crap shoot and I've got some pretty good genetics, my current favorites are Bodhi's Blueberry Hash Plant and his Mother's Milk and I've got the old 2003 Granddaddy Purple of Ken Estes. Then there's Gelato 33 and a Cherry Wine hemp that I do a full plant extract for the CBD.

I see you're going for the 2fer a month and you'll see what I'm talking about soon enough. Starting 2 seeds a month is rarely enough to get 2 plants to harvest in 4-5 months. It takes me 5 or 6 to get there. Again, youll see and it will be an awesome learning experience. I've done my share and it made me a better grower😉

No kidding... plant 20 seeds and check on them in 30 days and you're gonna see a significant difference between the bulkiest and the scrawniest. On a full 12/12 run you could probably do a really nice scrog of one gallons. Hmmm... liking the sound of this, the plants are a lot less bitchy if you don't give them time to become bitchy. A half ounce to an ounce per plant isn't much but if you've got 10-12 of those little things, now you ve got a nice little yield and you're turning that grow light back off in as little as 4 months. Not a bad prospect, eh?
