A plant has no idea what it taking up. It just knows it's food. Also no damage to microbes, unless intentionally mis used.I have my opinions on salts and organics because ive used both. Dialing in with any of them is the goal and they both rock out some bud.
We learn from who we think or FEEL is guiding us..if we trust them. They dont need a ton of fancy university degrees. It can be that old man who you met on the forum that leads you in the direction you seek or that old man on YouTube.
Organics n salts debate will roll on forever n ever. One thing most dont see is that not mater what it all breaks down into salts. Salts have been growing plants organically since the beginning of time.
I put a couple inches of sand on the top of mine and I have very little nat problemsThanks! Yes, I've been watching indoor grows with the sticky traps and think I'll get some mosquito bits and soak them, then strain, and sprinkle the top of the potting soil when I transplant.
And I'm of the 'less is more' for the most part, so will act accordingly.
You could help a lot of people by posting that on the OCD help forum.....Just wanted to compliment 7 East Genetics in Canada.
I started 6 seeds each of CBD Dragon, Grape Dragon, and the freebie Headstrong. Full germination except 1 of the Headstrong and the growth pattern of all is similar. Now, I haven't been growing as long as most but this is first for me.
They remind me of the tomato plants at the nursery in the Spring, all the same height and looks.

That is the 64 thousand dollar question. I have no idea. LOLAny chance you are going to finish any in the tent?
Have never had a faded leaf come back. Might stop but never recover. That is the 64 thousand dollar question. I have no idea. LOL
I want to find the males first, before any other plans.
And I did start more Northern Lights Autos to prove I can indeed do this. They are the tall ones along the walls. Right after they started flowering the fan leaves yellowed. Everything I've read says Nitrogen deficiency but the serrated edges were blue, which indicates too much N.
It could have been something with the well water. I switched to RO and all the plants except the NL fan leaves look better. Could I have missed the window for fixing it?
You got toFound a few males, so I put them on the porch, for now, with the 'extras' I never transplanted.

Square farmer makes a tray with a riser that lets your pot drain and roots breathe. I use marbles for my bigger round saucers. https://squarefarmer.com/ That way I can just spin the whole pot around without any effort rather than trying to rotate heavy pot full of dirt and plant.Where's that forum? LOL
Found these cute little square trays and it keeps everyone in line.

Thanks! That's a great idea.Square farmer makes a tray with a riser that lets your pot drain and roots breathe. Just between you and me... I have no idea. LOLHey cpurolahow are you going to keep those tall photos in control and keep them in the light for longer than 14hrs so they don't go into early flower? I have over 2 months till mine are safe to go outside.
And you'll likely notice your time between watering will change now.I have a confession to make. I never watered to run-off until today. And I poured so much water into the pots before it started to weep through the fabric on the bottom I realized I've been under watering them. Damn.
Now I know why they weren't growing very fast.
