The way my phone camera auto corrects the white balance in photos now is amazing.

I just recently read somewhere that air stones don't actually aerate the water, they break the surface tension to allow air to mix at the surface. Wasn't a scientific source so I don't know how actuate it is.

And I vote YES on keeping the little ones. But then, I have a problem with culling.

from my experience the roots allways find them and grow around them i think they skip the water compleatly

So I'm doing a lot of defoliation to expose the side branching and encourage it to grow upwards. The big old fans on the outside stay to do the heavy lifting. Her nodes are so tight together it's a bit of a mess in the net but once she really stretches and starts to set flowers I'll have a better idea of how to handle it. She's as flat as I can get her right now and very clean under the scrog.

The little cheese volunteer is going to have a gigantic knuckle because I knocked her down again this morning.

That is always my problem with SCROG
....I set the trellis and then have a hell of a time defoliating the plants. See message via PM.

I used to think the same way. Now I can pull the entire plant out of the tent if I want to and still get the scrog effect.

It also becomes priceless if the need to flush a plant arises or a breakout of PM or dem fucking bugs.

These huge knuckles after super cropping grow the biggest, strongest buds. Best case scenario I would have avoided splitting it but oh well. Where I zoomed in you can see the "shoulders" developing on the node below. This is the stress response increasing the vascular network to support a big mass increase to those side branches. When the plants are in luxury consumption mode like this they really do benefit from the stress in the long run. They have everything they could possibly want in life, it would upset the balance if they didn't suffer some.
It's the Yin and Yang philosophy.

So true... There's a top/bottom equilibrium the plant tries to maintain. When you strategically pluck a leaf it creates a deficit the plant is compelled to fill.

Then hitting them with a weed eater must be really beneficial.

I crush the main stem or whatever needs it. Your brutality is very similar to mine. I totally get it. Managing, bending, crusing, and sensible leaf removal can build one hell of a foundation for buds.

But, that is exactly how it's supposed to be, right? Nice full canopy with good air flow underneath. And your little one is starting to fill out nicely. You did only keep one volunteer right? Hope it's female.
