A while ago a flavor thread was started about pot taste. I told about a vomit taste from a few bags that really lit you up for seeded 1982 pot.
Now everyone chimed in on that. Never heard of it, why would you smoke it.
Now we got guys proudly posting about puke pot.

And Goulash pot? Make that an edible pronto!

Ya, I make edibles and that will NOT be on the menu. LOL

A buddy of mine was told the same thing in Jamaica.....he didnt listen.....came back to the boat with wife in town and weed in his pocket. At the gangplank there was the dude that sold him the weed and a cop......they arrested him for possession....cop gave weed back to the guy he sold it to. My buddies wife set sail on thecruiseship....my buddy it took him days to hire an attorney, go to court, pay the fine and helo over to catch the ship.....very expensive couple of joints.

The 2 guys that rented me the jet ski sold me the Doobie. I caught a wiff from the shed they were working out of and just asked. They acted like it was no big deal and even gave me a lighter ( sure gave, I paid 10 bucks in 1992 money for a J and they gave me a lighter )
But it was very good pot.
I never smoked on Mexican land.

It only happened while it was drying, but I had some plants that gave off a nasty fish oil smell during my Fall harvest. Those ones eventually landed on a nice front seat pine.

Went to Cabo in 02 for a friends bachelor party weekend. One of the guys in our group came back to the hotel with some shit weed he scored outside El Squid Roe. The real highlight of that trip was the moonshine tequila they served us on a booze cruise we took out of the harbor. One of our buddies got alcohol poisoning from that. I went for a swim back at the hotel... I was underwater swimming from one side of the pool to the other when I barfed underwater, leaving a pink cloud of vomit in my wake.

Next morning they showed up at my door... Hey Ninja we are going for a dip in the pool, want to join us? (No thanks, but have fun swimming in my puke)

Mexico back then was way different. If you went more than 500 meters from the beach you were in real gosh honest jungle.
Even the locals drank bottled water. We brought from the boat. We did have a real nice campfire supper of fish and shrimp and drinks out of a pineapple mug.
The price for rentals and food was 1/2 that of the Bahamas.

My guess is they put a 10 acre Hilton complex where the parking lot was.......

It looks like the alcohol companies are fighting back on the intoxicating hemp products ban. They carry the same view I have on it. Treat it like high end alcohol that can only be purchased thru a dispensary/ state store.

But of course they would...their some of the largest investors of the cannabis world.

Anyone in their right mind knows it'd be easier to regulate it, than make it illegal and cause more problems like,
loss of many jobs, millions of state $, and a loss of local tax $.

I'm of the mindset when they legalized hemp for farming, they let the genie out of the bottle. It now represents a multi billion dollar industry. Legislation surrounding it now has REAL economic impact.

I have never visited mainland Mexico, just Baja... And I took the last trip I will ever take more than 20 years ago. My wife and I used to drive down to Ensenada occasionally to surf. Well I surfed anyways. The last trip down, some banditos had set up a roadblock just South of Rosarito, pretending they were federales but of course no official vehicles around. We hung a U turn before we got too close, headed back to Baja Malibu and jumped on the Autopista and after that we we decided we were never going back.

Question for you guys. Nlx hashplant has decided to necro the leaves. There still some white hairs. I put it under the microscope and I have amber trichs. The buds also appear seeded. What would cause this? Would you harvest based on thrichs or the hairs?

Probs just genetics. I've had some strains milk/amber up around 8-9 weeks in and swell up the structure, but continuously throw fresh stigma for weeks afterwards. Nl5h was one, most heavy satties do it as well, and Ive had a few indicas do the same.

If the trichs are all milky with some amber's thrown in on the calyx, your calyx are swelling and the older stigma are retracting you should be good to go. A

I think mine was mostly because too much light at the end and maybe they went a bit too long i my case

How i bought my hash from i started smoking in 1980.
There was all. Kashmir, Nepal Lebanon, Morrock, Afghan, Turkish all from Africa, middel east far east. Not from the Americas though.
Hardly any weed though. that came much later.

There were maybe 50 shops like this. Open illegal marked and drug free.
Government finally closed it after 50 years.

I'm sitting having coffee and staring at my little indoors kitchen grow. I don't think I ever had such a nice white widow plant. It's from a Scandi company called "Norden Seeds" but they breed in Spain. Photoperiod of course. I think they did a good job on these genetics specifically while some stuff I have gotten from them was 20% herms and duds for me. Wish I could introduce some colder air during the night for her but I'm not gonna invest in more gadgets for this little tent. I've been down that road before when I just wanna run some experiments and it gets out of hand.

I know it's nothing like your guys trees, but for the energy I put in this, homemade compost, garden soil and tap water, I gotta say I'm quite happy. Fed her bokashi steak juice today. Sounds better than what I eat.
