The cheese is about to bust into her stretch and has gone full bush mode. It's hard to tell what's the main cola just looking at the top of the plant.

So you're only reversing the air layered stem? Or the whole FB?

Here is why I ask, I have yet to see any research proving that STS is truly systemic versus local. I've seen research showing the apical is where it's translocated to but they are generally treating the entire plant. When I did the Northern Cheesewreck I found almost zero male flowers in the apical ends not treated. If systemic then it's action on the Ethylene hormones should have been more widespread. Which leads me to your current attempt could be really enlightening.

Ima pass on some info about this FloraFlip stuff I have. Also known as King spray.
20260330 092657

Its a 1 spray application guaranteed. Folks on another site have been using it with very good results and many viable seeds produced. With 1 spray.

I recently won some in a giveaway on the site and will be giving it a try this summer sometime.

Check it out....

Yeah that's what I make, it's still STS it's just a different concentration and strategy. With king spray you have a little less flexibility because you have to hit the plant early and only once. I've never used it but I'm guessing it's too strong for more than a second application or applying late.

Either way, when you buy the thiosulfate and the silver nitrate it gives you ultimate control and saves a shit ton of money in the long run.... and it's stupid easy to make!

I've never had a homemade batch fail yet but always 50/50 success with anything premade off the shelf.

I hope it works for you as advertised! 💚

It was systemic enough in my last run that entire branches would flip when I only sprayed the top two nodes.

I know what your saying. I read a few articles of premix sprays failing. Thats why i posted this spray seems to work. The info keeps piling up in the thread. They are making a gel form as well. Im curious to see how that goes.

Its cool to have an option that works if ya dont want to mix your own.

Sounds like you've found the proper mix for homemade. I bet it does give ya more control. I need to learn more about this subject. Can't wait to flip some clones this summer. Get some hands on experience with this stuff.

The cheese in the closet has been getting abused like the one in the shed and the side branches are already taking off after 5 days. I split the stem on this one pretty hard and she didn't blink. Working on knuckle number two already. It's always nice to see the vigor of the mom get passed down to the offspring.

I'm excited to hear back from those of you that are growing it how it does in different setups. 💚

In soil 3gal bag. Stretchy stretchy.

Sorry, mine didn't make it. Half got smashed in the mail, then I forgot to do the H2O2 and the rest molded. All that hard work making them.... 🙁
If he doesn’t have more to send when I get some in around 5/6 weeks I can send you some, just let me know.

I also plan on reversing one soon too.

You are very sweet to offer. I think I'll have enough for this summer, but keep me in mind for Fall and indoor. Yes, I'm seriously thinking of doing this indoor thing again.

I've been having some issues with the autos, but the photos seem to be okay, for now. LOL
I realized I didn't add any amendments to the Pro Mix I put in the 3 gallon fabric bags, so they didn't do well. Will correct that next time.

Just ask if/when and they’re yours.

The cheese auto is catching up. 12 hrs of light so far hasn't made a noticeable difference, we'll see how the flowers stack up.

Speaking of flowers stacking up, when the heck is this F-Bombe going to stretch? I guess I missed it? Did I squash them when I lowered the light? Gemini says it's because my night temps are the same as my days. I will definitely take that into consideration next run.

I dropped the flora grow for the rest of the run. New rez per 5 gallons:

Armor si - 2 tsp/10 ml
Micro - 6 tsp/30 ml
Bloom - 6 tsp/30 ml

1.48 EC/740 ppm
pH - ~5.5

The one on the right in the last pic reminds me of those trees in Africa.

I'm also air layering a clone from the F-Bombe. The idea is to reverse it but remove it from the mother as the male sacs start to form. Hopefully in about five weeks it will have rooted. I will start spraying it with STS in a few days.

Inside the plastic wrap is moist coco and perlite wrapped in wet paper towels. As you can see it's split down the middle, the stem has one node and a thin slice underneath removed by a razor blade, and it's nestled into the bundle and secured with rubber bands.

I've been looking at these

$8 for 15. Reusable. Because I haven't figured out how to make one myself. Thought about using a wiffle golfball. I haven't tried it yet but for $0.50 each I might as well give these a try.
