Nice. Was Gunna run some kumaoni (Nepali) but I think I'm done with crazy stretch for a few months haha.

Fuck I'm at that stage where me smoking is so habitual that I can hardly tell the difference between a 10 and 30% strain so I don't discriminate haha. Squire swing me some CBD and I swear I still got pretty stoned lol.

On another note is seems like every strain I get sent now is somehow 30 plus THC. There's no way I'm believing everything is suddenly fuckin close to 35-40% total cannabinoids aye.

Nothing wrong with 17% weed.
The best i've grown was 16% iirc so i don't shop by % at all.

I am trying to tie the conversation together and I assume you are talking about THC? In other case this is just a part of the trainwreck.

Just whatever the breeder quotes. That's why I call BS on it and pretty much ignore it haha.

The plants true medicinal qualities has been breeded out. That's why we have all these BS strains today and people need effing "croc zombie ass berry I don't know". There used to be enough to use simply marijuana.

That's what I think anyway ☁️

Week 8 of flower starts today. It's been really cold, a bit too cold actually, for 2 nights. Brought some purple out in my tent. Did a dry back beginning of last week 6-7 to try and get some frost on and hoping to close my indo start of may.

Haze seeds be manifesting. Crazy how quick the bracts swell. A few days since pollination. A ton of S1 and F1 haze chucks coming.

But that's with their super controlled aero systems and buds dried out maybe, I don't know. I doubt a piece of biomass could hold that amount of THC, there's so much mass in the plant itself. Or is it % of total cannabinoids or what does it mean?

Most of their (Khalifa's) stuff is relatively low THC. Think 5-10%. I doubt any of their stuff is even about THC, more about preservation of heirloom strains and what not. But in general with breeders yes, they'll always test their best samples like anyone would.

In general sampling works by inserting a cured, manicured sample of bud and the machine will test the total cannabinoid count in percentage of available biomass and then break it down to total thc, thcA, THC V CBD, CBG and other minor cannabinoids if they ask for it.

Thats why manicure is important for the test.. if you throw in an untrimmed bud, by nature it's going to be lower In percentage of total cannabinoids due to the extra plant biomass.

I'll generally take any claims with a grain of salt and just classify them as "strong" or not based on an arbitrary "above or below 15%" classification based on whether I want a day or night smoke.

Anything over 15% THC turns me into a vampire and my eyes are ungodly red.
