Thank you! I’m sure it’s got to be better than what we currently have.Just wanted to wish you a happy Starlink install day tomorrow. Words of advice if you bought or even lease the equipment do yourself two favors. 1. Get a UPS, even a small one like 500va to back up the modem/router and 2. Get a cover for the dish if you are prone to summer storms with hail. I just ordered mine from Amazon for less than $125 for both. Just remember to remove the cover on the dish so snow melt will work in the winter.
Good luck and hopefully your weather up there doesn't change the install date or completion.
Peace!
Actually I have another week to wait. It’s next Saturday. Actually was excited for today. Oops.Just wanted to wish you a happy Starlink install day tomorrow. Spectrum finally is running fiber optic in the area. Nothing else has been available out here. Star link looks like a good fit. No contract, no obligation. We've got a Frontier landline and Xfinity (comcast) internet. Our phone goes out every other month, static mostly, so we call, service guy comes out, fixes it, then the spam calls start up again. One of these days, hubby will give up and cancel, just not yet. LOL
It's gotten so citified around here with all the new houses, they're bringing fiber down our road. We'll have to see if they offer to bring it to the house, (200'), and what it would cost.
Yeah! I feel itFeel that chill in the air? Freezing temps tomorrow night. Brrrrrrr
