Thank you for the lively interest from all of you and thank you for the pictures from Laos, they are more than interesting. I would like to see how the flowers turn out with the stretch.
I love Afghan you can't go wrong with it, dear cpurola. I can specifically recommend varieties from Hindu Kush or South Africa in terms of landraces if it's about resistance, there are also many that finish early.
"Masterkush" was probably my best outdoor strain in 20 years in german weather; in Michigan it will definitely be supernatural :)

The Pearl appearance is, by the way, a mutation ;) And I'm actually most interested in wild cannabis, there are wild strains with plenty of THC. The strain from the team "Pink Lavender" is from Cambodia, so it must also be of wild origin; in Cambodia, the strains actually all grow wild. A few breeders have been working on the genetics for a while to refine them and to reduce the naturally occurring high hermaphrodite rate. I myself will probably still do the "Lolab Valley Kashmir", shes really wild:) and a outdoor tip too.
Have a look for the 18 hour flower trait in middle east and central asia strains for multi harvest and for sure bet;)
Dude is a huge fan of 18 hour Iranian! TLT has 11 different Iranian strains! I don’t see where any of them claims to be 18 hours flower! Unfortunately, I’m too old to make the 500 mile round-trip down to Santa Cruz and buy some from this guy!

The only Iraqi I see on the site is Babylon! Is that the one you are playing with? Maybe they are planning on adding a few others! And the Syrian has conflicting descriptions! 7 to 12 week veg but a grower says they are 18 hour so who knows! And the Sinai and the Syrian seem fast, but hardly 18 hour! I guess you just have to grow them and find out! Lol! It sounds like the Babylon is 18 hour! Cpurrrr sent me some Lebanese! The green not the red I’m pretty sure! But they are supposed to be fast but they better not be 18 hours!😂 get after it!👍

Haha.. in Amsterdam this was my problem, i don t know should i smoke the red or the yellow lebanese dope first to see how it works.
This are the "Babylon" for sure, Iraqis hard to find.. look on "Seedheaven" theres one another;) There are lot of nothern outdoor genetics, too. My "Mighty Mite x Dart" from the old master "da shadow of the bean" comes from there.

Where they are from? Breeder and source please? Lebanese is ultra early here:)
I’m pretty sure it’s the real seed company! That one sounds kind of iffy on the 18 hour flower! I may have to get a couple of solar spotlights just to be on the safe side! I generally have a pretty long season so there isn’t any hurry!

I lollipopped the 4 in the middle; those are the favorites for next generatio, they are all healthy and growing strong, two dark phenos and two normal ones.
The other 4 were chosen as a backup and in case one or the other needs to be replaced.

With the other Iraqis, I am doing a test to see exactly when they bloom to see if there are phenos that differ. I am now lighting them for 17.5 hours, today is the 12th day of growth.

As I see it, both phenos are available in the strain, some select for red and yellow Lebanese, but the difference is, if you take a closer look, actually only that the yellow comes from resin of earlier harvested plants. It turns red if the plants are harvested late for the resin ;)
I grew the Lebanese last year and it did start flowering early, but succumbed to Septoria early too. Unfortunately I lost most of my outdoor grow to it. This year I intend to spray early and often.

Tell me about the horsetail broth.
They Main Content is Silica, field horsetail contains up to 25% silica in its dry weight, making it one of the most important silica drugs. This silica is crucial for the stability of the cell walls. The leaves are becoming noticeably harder/more stable, it makes it more difficult for spores to penetrate. On the internet you can find recipes on how to extract the silica from horsetail, or you can get the ready-made decoctions at the hardware store.

So, do you spray it on the leaves or add it to the soil?

Both works, in combination with nettle broth i perfer the spray because it also helps against pests;)
Do you think it would be okay for beneficials or does it kill all insects? I have built up a wonderful army of bennies in my garden. I have no aphids, very few caterpillars, many generalists and birds, so I'd hate to disrupt the balance.

This pic here illustrates a key difference between the landraces and the selectively bred. Landraces tend to be larfy... But by no means less dank. I remember High Times used to occasionally feature landraces from across the world and if they were my plants I'd be embarrassed to show them... but that's what wild cannabis looks like before humans got involved.
Looked a lot the same for many thousands of years even after humans got involved. Wild type cannabis is not the same as a landrace, there is selection involved in landraces, be it, plants or animals.
