Cereal Milk seedling (Homegrown Cannabis Co.) doing some lateral growth, looking happy and plugging along.

PM clone mother bushed out to compensate. Clones are still rootless day 3 but looks like some nubbing happening so they might start throwing roots day 5-6.

That's what it is, keeping her art confined to a predictable place lol.
I have like $200 in and used half the materials. There was initially a plan but it's morphing, she calls the shots I mostly worry about how.

Result of AI discussions working together to test soil nutrients:
This is a backyard version of the molybdenum blue method, which labs actually use—but simplified with stuff you can get easily.



🧰 What you’ll need​


  • A small soil sample (from your cannabis pot)
  • Distilled water (or clean tap if that’s all you’ve got)
  • A clear glass jar or cup
  • Coffee filter or paper towel
  • Vitamin C tablets (ascorbic acid)
  • A source of molybdenum
    • Easiest hack: some plant micronutrient mixes or certain fertilizers list ammonium molybdate
    • (If you don’t have this, the test won’t work—this is the key ingredient)


⚙️ Step-by-step​


  1. Make a soil extract
    • Mix ~1 part soil with ~2–3 parts water
    • Stir well, let it sit ~10–15 minutes
    • Filter it → you want a murky but particle-free liquid
  2. Add molybdenum source
    • A tiny pinch (or a few drops if liquid fertilizer)
  3. Add crushed vitamin C
    • This acts as a reducing agent
  4. Wait a few minutes


🎯 What you’re looking for​


  • Bright blue color → phosphorus is present (likely decent/high)
  • Faint blue → low phosphorus
  • No color change → very low or depleted


🧠 Why this works (quick and dirty)​


Phosphate ions react with molybdenum compounds → then vitamin C reduces it → forms a blue complex.
That color intensity roughly tracks how much phosphorus is floating around in your soil solution.

Molybdenum was it's idea, I couldn't nail down an indicator that is commonly available myself.

Got a wet napkin in bag hull cracks on @homegrowncannabisco Cereal Milk #2 (#1 is a strong sprout doing great!), and Orange Glaze (photo, fem) from @SeedSupreme .
These guys were cool about a referral associate link and free seeds so I am happy to also be a customer.
Still gonna have to run straight Mother's Milk someday, among oh 30 strains now lol.
Hey where'd that @Captspaulding guy go? I know he got busy for a bit. I gotta show him I'm all grow'd up now lol.

Im not going to buy anything right now. But im interested in a program or software that i can remove vocals and individual instruments? You have any recommendations? Im mainly using my iPad with a keyboard case, but i do have a full on mac desk top that’ll run some shizzle!

Are they trying to gain my trust, get into my wallet, and touch me bum? DO THEY LIE A ME!?! Do they really want to hurt me, do they really want to make me cry?
Or is it totally worth it to compact all the cost into this, trusting I don't need a daily evolving witches brew. Also trusting I'm not required to follow some anus prolapsing calendar.
