Oh dang. It's been inside it's whole little life.Or thrips! Sometimes those little black dots are thrip poop! And thrips give the leaves a silvery color!
Could be! Looks like it is close to outgrowing that solo anyway! It looks hungry too me.![]()
Mature, thrips have wings! They can fly in at any time anywhere! But theyβre pretty easy to see in the larva stage on the bottom of the leaves! The poop usually gives them away! And get a loupe if you donβt have one already! One with the lights on it! Theyβre cheap!Oh dang. It's been inside it's whole little life.

I donβt know! Probably wouldnβt hurt! I donβt feed my plants during the grow! Might have to wait for someone else to chime in on that!Okay! TY! Yes may 20. Goodie!! I'm ready to do this one right, timing & all :-)
I didn't see anything moving under side, so hoping she's just hungry!
So should I give her a spray of diluted compost/worm tea? She needs a drink before bed. (I did too, at one time) ;)
Okay, well I gave her some verrrry week tea... I haven't had to feed in solo cups... But it's been a month since planted in that fox farm cultivation nation soil. Coco & perlite mix. 1st x to use it, this year.I donβt know! Probably wouldnβt hurt! I donβt feed my plants during the grow! Might have to wait for someone else to chime in on that!
Going from the solo to 10 gallon your going to want to wet your 10 gallon pot asap if your going in you want to establish a good root system first by making sure you make roots reach outwards good roots healthy plants then I start the feeding once they are ready lots of leaves and keep them green n happy till flower then hope weather cooperates your trying to make them feel at home and happyOkay! I know you asked some other questions there tooβ¦and since none of those knowledgeable people you referenced answered, you get mineQuestion (s): this is my #2 Purple Haze
It's a month old.
I started it cos I didn't think the 1st one was gonna make it... okay sooo
It's leaves are getting pale. Should I give it some very diluted compost tea?
1/20 dilution would be ok to spray it with?
Or stronger?
I'm also thinking of putting it into a 1 gal container today, until it's ready to go into it's 10 gal final home. Do I even need to up-pot or just get the 10 gal bag's soil ready to plant in a day or 2?
Thankful for All you knowledgeable, experienced farmers![]()

Yes, I've heard you guys talk about wetting those big bags before planting.Going from the solo to 10 gallon your going to want to wet your 10 gallon pot asap if your going in you want to establish a good root system first by making sure you make roots reach outwards good roots healthy plants then I start the feeding once they are ready lots of leaves and keep them green n happy till flower then hope weather cooperates your trying to make them feel at home and happy
What kinda of dirt you going in ?
Ahhh thanks not defective at all!I know you asked some other questions there tooβ¦and since none of those knowledgeable people you referenced answered, you get mine.
I personally would go straight to final home from there because I donβt like to transplant twice!
Some people are scared to give seedlings nutes, but if theyβre yellow from lack of nutes, depleted used soil perhaps, Iβd give it to them.
Edit: I missed the other postsβ¦sorry guys! lol.
You can handle it! It ainβt rocket science!TY Big Al!! Yes, I've heard you guys talk about wetting those big bags before planting.
I'll mix it up tomorrow & wet it. Then sit for a day, in the bag..(cos that's all the time I feel I have at this moment).
Will put Purple Haze into the bag Friday.
I'm using the ocean forest/frog farm mix, Peat, Perlite/Vermiculite, & some worm casting.
Using KiS dry nutes in the soil this year. And some micorrhizal fungi at the roots.
I'm also top dressing.
I'm trying organic this year but IF I have to use synthetics later on...I will...If forced by fate lol
I'm definitely hoping the weather isn't going to be crazy all year! But.... From the way it's been going.....idk. Definitely gonna be aride

What strain is the last pic?Heck i drag my pots or i use a hand truck. I have 15gal plastic nursery pots and i don't "lift" i drag. If you let them dry out prior to moving them when needed it's of course much lighter. I did get a 10gal fabric pot last year but i'm just stubborn and still use these pots.
