Cheers mate. Been running a lot of f1 chucks from mates lately so variation has been high. It's nice to have two plants from seed end up following the same pace for once.

Not doing too bad yourself either. Nice variety.

Will be getting a few chromatic repros from Heavy Dayze going in the next few days. Made a bunch of S1 from a nice chromatic last year and popped three as testers straight away. All popped and went well so I swung a bunch out as freebies and they haven't had much luck germinating.
Will run a few more testers 12/12 before sending out any more freebies haha.

So what a day that was

You might remember the blue Afghani mini clones?

I expected they'd root they looked to good not to, if there was a problem they'd have shown it.

I got all the final touches done today, while I was there I done a final bit defoliating, moved them for the best fit and plumbed in the autopots and turned them on

I've got silver nitrate and sodium thiosulphate I've been meaning to try and reverse my Exo and maybe some others but exo to start with, I'm not too sure about it all do you have much experience in it?

Mate I've only reversed 5 strains so still pretty new to it all.

I just picked up a pre mixed a+b kit. Add 3ml of each into a sprayer and add 15ml distilled water and it seems to do the trick so far.

I prefer to spray one cola tip a few days after stretch has initiated so I don't end up with much reversing. Can just chop off the top 3-4", dry it out and sift through the sacs for pollen. You don't need much at all to get a good handful of seeds in one cola.

Have had one strain that popped ball sacks but they were sterile. Another that took a good 3-4 weeks to start reversal and others that pop she dicks within a week.

I think it's safe to say the bx blue digiberry wasn't going to come to much?

I left the bottom in place removing it now isn't going to serve any purpose.

Checked the room this morning after being away for a week. The HH back in flower, will leave it a week before pruning her, select what shoots to keep then a defol.

Cloning isn't difficult bro put into a pot of compost and kept warm, humid they'll will root 7/10 days, humid avoid soaking!

Cloning is probably your quickest option to harvesting bud, ime re vegging requires time it's the reason I wait for flowering to take clones from unknown genetics it gives me a chance to test them without the hassle of looking after vegging clones 1st.

I wasn't sure about woody mums but it looks like it might do ok, I've also clones of one so it'll be interesting to see how they compare.
I've wondered about this every time I've flowered a mum

So I think I've got an answer to the question about flowering woody mum or fresh clones.

I think it's close enough that waiting for clones wouldn't be justified?

So I potted some seeds this afternoon
30th May...

3x Indiana Bubblegum, 1x Blueberry twist, Zushi, Rainbow belts, Glitter bomb, and Blueberry cupcake, 3x my own cross of Exo x Bockbuster crosses.

25th May) I potted up exo and lemon cherry gelato clones aiming to get them vegging soon as then onto into an airpot, I've even used the biggest pouch size I have it's going to be epic!

Yesterday I took 6 cuttings off the HH that had revegged and planted them in damp soil in the grow room 12/12
Today pruned the mother plant, left a few bud sites. This plant must be the longest 12/12 ever due to errors. Looking back I could have dumped her but don't like to give up. Only seed that grew from dozens I had from a difficult outdoor grow 2 years back. Terrible weather at the end, mouldy buds. But a few good buds that I enjoyed and looking forward to smoking these.
The clones been in the soil 24 hours and 5 out of 6 looking fine and dandy. Forgot to use rooting powder but let's see.

Nice one mate I'm proud of you for taking clones
The only thing is they'll need more light hours, even if it means using daylight for some of the time, without longer light hours they'll continue to be in flower.

Rooting powder/gel isn't super important it helps buy non essential.
Try to keep them in higher humidity but not saturated, they don't have a root system to supply much water atm.

Good luck with the clones bro it sounds like you've got this, them looking good after 24hrs is a food sign

I spent about an hour at my veg tent last night I re potted the Bodhi blueberry clone into a 2ltr airpot I custom made

When I say custom I really meant cut height off my 3ltr airpots

The root ball will be nice for the 8ltr square pots for the autopots.
They maybe look much the same as my others but the holes have different shape/size and funnel roots out much better than the other airpots which could and did deflect the roots back in from the holes, a sharp drill would fix them or at least help.

My gorrila glue needed a little attention it's got too many shoots none are much good.

It's been a while since I flowered it, I like it and like to have it on hand and I'm running low.

I gave all those little shoots a trim and used that main shoot for a clone, I intend to improve on it but i had a couple of spare pouches.

I had to try and clone one of the little shoots I removed I enjoy messing around

You might remember the Exo I'm re vegging?

It's put out a fair bit of new growth I had to make a start on tidying it up.

I was left with a pile of weird leaf/shoots one of which has the beginnings of vegging growth.

That concentration of nodes could be full of growth hormones it stands to reason it should be, will that translate?
