Guess I will get engaged here a little as it’s the more open minded less attitude site I’ve found for this topic.
For 26 I did build another boxed bed so nothing in bags this year which was my goal, 16 plants in the 3 beds and my overflow parking has about 20 crammed together in mostly native soil, limited watering it’s an old school grow area Ive kept up a little over the years.
Most of my focus is on the 3 raised beds which have: Orange Creampop, Lobster Queen, Squirt, Lovers Moon, Necromancer Kush, Apples & Afghani, Sex Mellon, Head Candy, Honey Face.
Three breeders wound up in the main garden, Dirty Bird, Twenty 20 Mendocino and Humboldt Seed Co, all are from feminized seeds Organically grown and they got a minimal growth adjustment this morning, trellis nets in the next few days.
They’ve been through a heat wave already and did well, our forecast for the summer is hotter and drier so mulches will be on the heavy side.
On that note I was mowing down my field for fire control yesterday, smelled wood smoke saw a plume coming off the neighbors property and found the start of a wildfire that came out of a burn pile. It had been out for a couple weeks and rained on, the owner out of town .
Was able to get it all with the tractor but if your rural in the west pay attention to everything this year we are dry.
The red balls are wooly dodds on a rose.
Cheers to another growing season
