Dear. God. *Every* one of those colas looks bigger than the very largest of my tops, but they run top to bottom! Damn. ...must be a trick of the camera. :itwasntme

Did I miss the lighting numbers? I went back through the thread, but I couldn't find what wattage you're using to grow those beasts...

no trick photography. just plain old pics.

4 ladies dancing around a 1K and 4 600's shining on thier backsides. the 600's dont do shit though imo and would be better served somewhere else. no co2 either until i get the kinks worked out of the HP so i can then see what difference it will make.

this is an awesome setup tree farmer... really unique. it will be interesting to see how the yield compares to your low pressure grows.

i know what you mean. i bought a couple 600's based on good growers talking about lumens per watt and how the 600's were more efficient. when i bought a 1000, my gf came down and was like, wow that's a black dick, and that's a white dick, pointing at the 600. i guess the 400 would be an asian dick lol. anyways, i want to move my 600's to veg only..... and this will sound odd, but it seems as if the 600 emmits more heat. i can get the plants closer to the 1000 than the 600.

Yeah, clearly not, man. Just kiddin'. I don't think you can really fake donkey dicks like that. :yes If you're comfortable with it, I'd love to see some dry numbers when you're done - number of sites, oz/site, etc. I'm a week or two away from finishing my first run in a UC system under 4 600W bulbs, horizontal, and it'd be fascinating (and probably humiliating) to compare.

I've been waiting for a thread like this to pop up, thanks Tree Farmer.

tree farmer... i've been reading up on tag setups. i have a couple questions. is the accumulator tank supplying all your pressure? is that the device that makes so much noise? if not what is the noisy device used for? to fill the air bladder in the accumulator tank with air?

can any type of pump fill an accumulator tank, or do you need a high pressure 100 psi pump like this one? you had mentioned using larger containers. i was thinking of insulating 55 gallon drums. how many drums do you think a 2 gallon accumulator tank could handle, assuming i'm using 2 misters per drum?

i'm really interested in setting one of these up, so if you could answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated. i will keep looking for the answers myself though.

you can find all the answers to anything dealing with HP systems by looking at the thread at RIU under my name. i dont post to the thread anymore but the first 3/4 of the thread has discussed everything youd need to set an HP system up properly.

nothing makes alot of noise. the pump is the only thing that makes any noise and that only runs very seldom and can be setup to only run a few minutes aday
in a properly designed system. i cant tell you how many drums you can feed with a two gallon accumulator because that would depend on the nozzle ouput you'd use and how mant nozzels per drum and how long a mist cycle etc.
if your interested in Hp id suggest you just do something small to learn first because without a good background in these systems it will be very difficult to get decent results out of the gate. dont want to see you go without. better to just play on the side first.

well i finished this run and didnt want to leave the thread uncompleted. although i didnt break any records of mine or anyone elses i feel ive added to my knowledge base and the results were good enough to move forward to my new design.

one of the biggest obsticales for my current situation is firing enough light. it takes 1k on every side to reach decent numbers with trees and i cant do that right now. Also as mentioned earlier in the thread the pods are to small for anything larger than what this run reached.
im going to be continuing with my new pods which will have interchanable lids so i can run different arrangements of plants from one tree to 9 smaller ladies. another challenge is finding (or getting) a heavy yielding lady.this sat had some very huge buds but not that many and only on 3 sides and 2 of those sides were 600's.
my new system will be setup so there will be no noise. only every 4 days will the pump kick in for a few minutes. and it will still be DTW. im learning these systems are so cheap to run once setup properly.

well thanks for those that stopped by.

wow, pretty damn sweet. Congrats on the setup.

I would absolutely love to have something like this. I always beleived it to be possible to get rdwc yeilds with a similarly rigged up aero system, and you have gone and prooved it. Thx!

Holy crap bro, I thought i was doin somethin building a janky aero unit out of pvc pipe and pvc fence post from the hardware store. That looks like the beginnings of a system you may expect to be used on a spacestation or in a labratory. What type of misters/foggers do you use?

heres a mister test i did when designing the system. i used biocontrol nozzles on this system but will be changing to stainless steel impingment nozzles on the new chambers. the new nozzles will be capable of putting out even less thruput and better mean droplet size.

im still working out the kinks so no sense anyone else building the same layout. i think my new chambers and control system should correct every issue i have run across so far expermenting with this current setup. the current setup has done me well (not a single malfunction in almost a year of continual use)but has limits do to the system layout. most of the parts of this system will be going into my HP cloner which i will be tackling first.

I know it would be a lot of work for you, I do, but *man*, I would love, love, *love* to see a tutorial on how to build a system like yours. Or your latest iteration. You sell it so well... unrivalved root health, explosive growth, high efficiency, and silent to boot? Did I misunderstand that? Nearly silent?

The world needs your write-up, but thanks for everything you've posted so far! :yes :D

really amazing. This reminds me of Fatman always preaching aero as the best lol :)

dwc and totes is so easy/foolproof though its hard to part with

i didnt take pics last time i built this system but i will be taking pics as i build the system this time.

you listed some good reasons for HP aero but one you never mentioned is they are expensive to setup but once setup are the cheapest system to run. that goes for nutes, ro water used, and electricity. and very litlte chance of a failure is you use quality parts and set it up properly. yes my new system will be near silent. all you will hear for 4 days is the pssst of the misters firing.
