I need VB back in my life!

Looking nice there BG! Looking very similar to some of mine too. I was doing some LST on my #1&2 VB's preparing to get the party started next weekend when I noticed #2 is turning purple. All the others are green. I'll keep a close eye out for deficiencies causing it but my best guess is the cooler fall nights. All plants are getting the same nutes and treatment. Should be interesting come Oct. when there should be nicely formed flowers.

BillyGoat, when do you figure you'll start your flowering? The anticipation of seeing these flowered out is killing me!!!

That's wild on your purple plant. We all know the cold weather will do that, but it could be a pheno also. Can't wait to see more from your plants. Sounds like your on your way.

I don't know when I'm going to start flowering them out. I've got to finish packing seeds and get that all said and done. I do got the one female still in the room and will most likely leave her in there. I might have to cut a sample off to bring with me to your know where. I'll post once I figure out my order.

Here's some updated pictures. This is female #5 and she is starting to flower now. You can see the top starting to form. She's looking pretty good, but I will say this. I think if your going to run these indoors. You might want to use a 1000 HPS light. I'm using 600's and kind of wish this girl was under a 1000 HPS getting hammered but the bright lights. Either way, this up coming spring. I should get some of these outdoors.

I'm guessing i'm going to start budding these out for seeds sometime around Sept-Oct. I want to make sure I've got plenty of room for them all.

Ya, I'm thinking the same thing. I took down the males. Didn't need pollen in the room just yet, but got plenty of back up clones going crazy now. Just got to sit down and figure out the rotation. I think I jumped the gun on the next generation on the OE's. I did not expect these plants to do so well in coco.

Boy! Did i get a BIG shock. Things are looking so much better with this Canna Coco and perlite. I'm sold on this mix. I'm just flowering out this one female for now. I'm not one to waste a good female. This will be giving away to see what people think.

I'm guessing around Oct is when i'm going to fill the room with everything and let them go. I've got a few things I need to update in the room. Scrubber need to be recharge. Might be getting a new state of the art dehumidifier that is affordable. Grow shop has this new line of 60 and 100 qt units that don't make any noise and are priced 500-800. I'll talk more if i get one.

The ppm are running about 1000-1100 now. I might back off some. I'm using the A/B coco mix and adding Canna Boost. That Boost is like 100 bucks a bottle, but suppose to help out allot. Will see if it's worth its weight in gold. As for the cal/mag. Yes, I'm still giving them about 5ml per gallon. I mix up 5 gallon buckets at 25mls per.

Do you think I should stop giving them the cal/mag? I'm new to the whole coco thing. Ya, the leafs are looking nice. I'm just happy they got some color now. I was getting worried at first. They have come along way and I really can't wait to see this girl done. Wait till I get some of these outdoors in the tropics. WOW!

something about coco saps up the calmag ......

canna boost worked well on some plants better than others my longer flowering variety responded to it more than short term indica.. might have something to do with the application timing ...

im all ears about the silent units how is the power consumption?

you often find nice pieces of gear i seem to miss out on.

doing better after the accident just found a 65 lambretta silver cloud i may try get only 3k orig miles ....woot..

thats all i need is another hobby ...

Good news and bad to report. Heard some noise outside so I look out my window and see a Mexican dude on a 15' ladder cleaning my neighbors window on the second story.
He can't see my garden yet until he gets to the side window. Knowing he'll be staring down my VB's soon and only 30' away from them I have a couple options.........
1. Hope he's semi blind and misses them somehow.
2. Be pro active and have a chat with him.
3. Shoot his ass and put him in the compost bin.
4. Shake the ladder and hope he falls killing him..... accidents like that happen all the time!
5.Tear down
6. Your suggestion.

The good news is I have rooted cuttings now of #'s 1,2,3,and 5 and at least one male for backups. Will be putting them in coco to veg for two weeks. This will allow me to take cutting of my nice runt, the Indica pheno and #4.

Ill try and get pics but as stated earlier if they compromise my security by way of showing identifiable backgrounds then it won't happen until I set something up like a backdrop.

Ya, I'm loving the coco very much. I'll never use dirt again. I'm hooked on this Canna line and loving it. I'm a very lucky person. The area I live in. I get atleast 20% off anything I buy. The norm is about 22-25% off. As for the boost. I'll run it and see what it does. the bottle should last long, but I can understand people not wanting to drop a bill for a liter bottle.

I'm going to stick with the cal/mag and just not fix anything that isn't broken. I'll run it to the flush cycle. I've heard the same thing about coco and cal/mag. Sucks it right out of it.

I'll let you know about the new units. They use less power and don't make noise. I've seen the 60 and 100 pint units and they look well built. I was going to buy a 60 pint to replace my old unit, but I didn't want to be the guy testing the new units. I'm suppose to hear about them by money. Guy bought a bunch of them and was suppose to get back. I'll let you know.

That's a rough one Harry. I wish I had a straight answer for you. I would say talk to him, but then again. I might want to tear everything down. It's a tuff choice and no one likes to make them. Let us know what you do. Best luck with the issues. Is it possible to move it out of sight till he's done with the work?

Ya, they are loving the coco. Ya, I needed to get the light closer to them. I didn't drop the lights, so they where stretching for the light. A 1000HPS, would work wonders for these, but don't count the 600HPS light out. When I go to run all the cuts together. I'll have new chains and I'm also switching out the vent hose. I'll be able to really drop the light low and kill them with as much light as I can. I'll raise the light little by little and see how this works, but I'm thinking 1000HPS would be key to really killing it with this girl indoors.

Ya, they are working well. Shoot!, I already burned through my one liter bottles. Got to go get some more of the A/B stuff. I might go for the larger jugs. Since all my plants are using the same stuff. Plus, it will save me some money buying larger.

BG- Hey bro!!! Great to hear things are crankin along with these ladies!! So i too have ventured into the world of coco from organic soil and if the growth stays consistent- I agree...never going back to soil. The growth, vigor and lack of soil issues is phenomenal....
Do you use RO water? If so, make sure you stick to that calmag til flush. Heard its necessary in some amount anyways, but RO without a doubt. I actually ditched CalMag on recommendation to try Calplex and again- I'll never go back to calmag. Too much ppm and Mg I dont need (plenty in most base nutes). I find I have less Cal problems now that the mag is not present... and everything in coco are loving it. I actually started with teh Canna A/B combo as well but am on to AN now. What does the boost do? Its not carbs, they have a pk booster, is it pk booster related?

Ya, things are moving forward. I'm digging the coco very much. I can't believe how well the plants grows. I'm never looking back for sure. Yes, I'm using a 6 stage RO system. I add Cal/Mag every time. Glad you said something about the Calplex, because I got a bottle that was given to me by hydro shop. I've got so much free shit. lolol I've got to burn some of it off. I'll try the calplex and see if I like it.

I don't know what the boost really does, but it's. Suppose to help with yield. I'll try it and then try without it and see if it really helps. I'm always looking for something that will help out. Thanks for stopping by. Nice to see you.

Hell yeah bro, burn through the freebies!! lol. I am diggin the calplex though and its uber cheap, gallon jug for like 28.95. I started higher (7-8 ml/g like calmg) and things seem to be fine as long as im between 5-7ml/g.
