Wow, nice roots BG!

Thanks, I'm very happy with them. I'm digging the coco very much. Once I get a run or two under my belt. I should have it some what dialed in. Roots are very much important. If you don't have good roots, your in trouble. Thanks for stopping by.

Update

Well, I transplanted the larger ones last night. Got them in the 5 gallon containers and boy are they happy. I checked them this morning and they are loving life.

With any transplant. I water them to get the roots heading south. I mixed up some nutz and get them a feeding. BOY! was I shocked this morning.

I noticed a big change in color. I've been using Canna Coco and their Coco A & B Nutrients with some Cal-Mag. Still even from others saying they are a light in color cannabis. Something just didn't feel right with me.

So, I mixed up some Earthcrew Inc. Organic Micro-Boost. I got a bottle of this stuff from local hydro store. They are always giving me stuff to try and this is some of the stuff I got a while back. I total them I was having some Iron issues. Well, they said you need to try this stuff and boy does it work. This stuff is loaded with all types of good stuff.

Here's some info on it. It doesn't say you can use it with coco, but I said what they hay. I'm not hawking there product at all, but to see a change over night. I'm sold on this stuff. Here's some info for those wanting to know more.

Microboost is designed for soil and foliar application, to prevent and correct pre-existing deficiencies as indicated by plant leaf and soil testing. Since the ingredients in Microboost are 100% water soluble and immediately available to the plant, this product is extremely efficient as a foliar spray in situations where a rapid response is desired. An excellent nutrient additive to Commercial Crops, NFT and Greenhouse growers.

MicroBoost contains no EDTA (ethyl diamine tetracetric acid) chelates.

Chelated Magnesium 1.70%
Chelated Zinc 0.75%
Chelated Iron 3.50%
Chelated Manganese 0.75%
Chelated Sulfur 4.00%

Now, when I mixed up my gallon for the ones I transplanted. I was light on feeding them so, I wouldn't nuke them. This is a Organic item and the PPM meter won't work. So, I mix my 5ml each of the A & B then add a 1oz of this Micro Boost and adjust the PH. For me, I've got to come up. I hate coming up with ph. So, easy to lock out. I add my up to plain water, then mix and then add ph mixed water. Less chance of locking out anything.

Well, that's about it. Just wanted to update since they look better from last night. I'm loving this coco over soil. Boy, you can bounce them back so quickly. Hand water them like soil, but act's like hydro. I'm in love for sure.

Now, I've got to transplant a boat load of other stuff and get all the soil out of my garden.
Take care,
BG

Hey monkey5,

thanks for stopping by. Ya, it's going to be a while for a smoke report, but I've got a few people that are going to help me out with it. I'll make sure to post all the info and some pictures.

Did Fet get these to you, because these where never for sale if I remember correctly? Any ways, thanks for the offer and will see what happens. It's looking good so far. I'm noticing a nice few pheno's, so the gen pool should be nice. I'm going to run these seeds in a greenhouse this up coming spring. Should do well under the sun.

Well, thanks for the offer. Take care and thanks for stopping by.
later,

It's really great of you to share your Coco and Nuits info with all of here watching this grow Billy....the results are off the charts...please continue that info throughout your grow if you would please...watching a grow is one thing and watch a grow with all the nuit info to boot is really educational...always love learning new stuff..

Sweet job Billy,

J

BTW...those 5gal containers are nice..did you get those at your hydro store or somewhere else?

I'm assuming the blue ones are the 5gals?

Looking very nice and healthy despite the minor problems BG! Thanks for your coco report.

Great offer for more of the VB's to BillyGoat monkey5! Should help out in case he needs a larger pool.

I think the blue container is just to hold and transfer coco to the pots he's using.

Yep coco is the crazyness. Not to mention not having to lug soil around. Spill it let it dry up and vacuum it. Diggin the grow. The Wille Nelson was a good one so cant wait to see these buggers go. That microblast sounds like the stuff. Keep on rockin BG.

Beautiful looking roots Billygoat! I gotta get a bag of coco and give it a try. I have seen great results from people mixing coco in dirt too. Man I am convinced microbes are the way togo, just did my first compost teas this past week, plants love it! Take it easy thanks for the updates, fun watching you work-it :)

I think you're right HarryN...too big to be 5gal...the blue's must be what he's using to fill the 5gal I see in the container...the blue does look closer to 15 or 20gals.

BillyGoat, Got them off H.Stairway...right before it went down my last score! They were only up a minute! Same exact description you posted at the front page of this thread! Got 4 packs of his 303 too! Just let me know! Lol! Love sativa's! And been stored perfect since! Just holler! monkey5

Ya, I'm loving this coco for sure. I'm glad I went with the Canna and not the cheap stuff. I'm paying like $18 bucks a bag. Which is pretty good. Funny, you should say Willie Nelson. I've got half of a pack of those. Texas Kid gave me half of the pack he grew out. The microboost stuff is good. I'm going to be stocking this stuff in my grow from now on out.

You should be happy with it. I should have made the move over sooner. I like it, because it's like soil, but you maintain a PH of 5.8. Also, if there is problems. It's so easy to correct and bounce them back. Not the case with soil. I've never brewed any tea, but heard good things about it.

The blue container is a 18 gallon rubbermaid container. I mix the coco and perlite in it and store the mixture. I then take a 5 gallon container and place it inside the 18 gallon and fill the 5 gallon container. This helps me keep the place clean and no spillage. Look at the picture closer. You should see some 1 gallon containers, 5 gallon container and the 18 gallon one.

Ya, I scored allot of stuff from Heaven Stairway myself. Glad to hear you got some also. I was lucky enough. To talk and have Fet e-mail address. Man, he was getting all stressed out after his last bust. He sent me the seeds directly and I was blessed. Thanks for the offer and let's hope everything goes well. Funny how we both have been around for such a long time. Guess that's a good thing.

Thanks, they are getting allot better. Just getting use to the coco and also their feeding habits. We should be good with the clones or the grow after that one. I should be taking cuts beginning of the week.

Thanks for all the kind words and hope your VB is doing well also. I should be down your way in Sept. Hit me up by pm and will talk more.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and all the kind words and support.
Take care,
BG

monkey you have been one of the most helpful members on here . nice of you to offer these to the man bg......

Yeah b those look great .... wer all chompin at the bit for all the new releases .

aloha everybody .... back to the greenhouse .....

get ready for 2 liter sized coco buds in those 5 gallons billy.

Ya, everyone is. Just got all but maybe one or two transplanted into the 5 gallon containers. I'm thinking monday I will take as many cuts from all the lower stuff and throw them in the pollen room and see what happens.

My rotation is all fucked up, so I've got some OE flowering now and want to keep it sensi, so I might have to cut the males down and figure out what to do. They still need about a month and a half. Will see what happens. If the males keep from nutting to so. I think I could be good.

Will see what happens, but I'm going to take a bunch of cuts and get clones going soon. One thing for sure. This coco stuff is crazy. The one's I transplanted tonight. Let's say they looked root bound. I've never seen anything like that before. In such a short amount of time.

If I can get them dialed in, before they start budding. I think you might be right about the 2-liter bottles. I guess will see soon enough. I'll get a group picture around monday. Get them all together and give them a hair cut.

I'm really looking forward to seeing these plants flower out. Any advice for the Canna and flowering? I'm going to use the A&B, PK 13-14, and some Bloomblastic. I think that should do well. Plus, add some cal-mag.

Well, that's about it. Thanks for stopping by everyone.
Take care,
BG

sounds rite they really suck up the calmag during flower ...

p/k shot will really help them stack .

i feel like plants uptake nutrients in coco much more rapidly than dirt ,once you get them headed down the road they just jam.

rockin bg ... good luck on the sensi crop of oe sounds tasty ..

stay warm everyone said it was nasty up there ...

This is my first run with the coco, so I'm learning a bunch. Thanks for the help. :) I'm going to keep a close eye on the up take. I'll nuke em if I got to. lol As for the OE. I'm hoping to have a nice harvest before Oct, hint hint. Should be some tasty nugs and Hash to go along with it.

It was nasty, but it's burnt off like always. Turned out to be a nice day. Got of work early and do some work at home. Not a bad day at all. Wish I was at the warm water pond. My back and knees have been acting up. Nothing like smoking a fatty before a good long soak.
Later,
BG

To help when Billy Goat is busy, here is my #2 VB. She has the same classic Sativa blades as #1.
