I have an irie feeling that it has to do with my rez. Haven't done a swap in almost 8 weeks now.

SOOOO tonight im dumping half the rez.

Taking back my bottle of gold flower b cause its got hella salt chunks in it. also a problem

After so much time with no rez swap, certain nutrients begin to build up that the plant was unable to use and others there just isn't enough. I'm hoping that by swaping half the rez I can level everything back out with a solid dosage of a/b not just an adding roughly 50ppm's here and there. Not so sure about this no rez swap biz

hydroton is actually entirely to much medium. lava rock is extremely porous therefore there is more room for water to fill within the lavarock.

Don't get me wrong some liquid can pass through hydroton but not nearly enough. I did a run earlier this year and all I got was a bunch of root rot because the water couldn't flow fast enough through the buckets, because there wasn't enough room for it or the roots feel me.

Good info, Im in the process of planning and the lava rock i really like, and i can go get it right at Lowes! Have you done previous lava rock, i was wondering about the re-using of it and how easy/difficult it is. The beauties are comin along nicely, cant wait for the next update.

i would never reuse it as it is just to cheap to not replace.

seeing as the roots grow through the lava rock chunks I don't think it would be easy to clean. next time I'm renting a power washer to wash down the lava rock

if you are not going to reuse it then why bother with a power washer lol

because it needs to be washed initially because its full of red mud

anyways I'm ditching the RO unit next run and just topping off with tap.
next run is already planned out for some major improvements.
going to be running half og and half sour bubble (if she gives me 8 cuts)

There is a link to the bio balls. I am really interested into trying them out. Things are looking good though. How did you determine how long you were going to flower for?

Them are some fat ass colas at 22 days. They look exactly like the frostitute strain I run.
So thats what co2 does. Shit I barely have 1/2 of that at 22 days
Kick ass
