If I had no means of income except growing and I had a seed comany gettng 150-200$ for ten seeds I'd vote no too. But I'm open if any no voter wants to actually make a good factual point as to why the no vote is better I'd love to see it. I've been to 5 different forums and all the no voters have yet to give one fact of why they don't want it to pass. I suggest instead of listening to what anothers opinion on the bill is you meet with a lawyer and have them interpret it for u in lamens terms as not many actually understand it. So far the no voters have one thing in common and it's greed. Same people hoarding clones, same people taxing on P's and same people selling clones and seed at high prices. As for the people who are actually good for the community who make donations and give most away for free and only charge to stay operational and have other means of income they all vote yes. Might as well keep it real you wanna keep milking 215 into the ground ;)

WHY PRO-POT ACTIVISTS OPPOSE PROP. 19:
19 REASONS TO VOTE KNOW
“People think it’s legalization, it’s being sold as legalization—even though it’s the opposite of legalization.” - Dennis Peron, author of Prop. 215 that legalized medical marijuana in California

dude I run 2 lights in flower, prop 19 will not affect my income in any way

I vote no because it makes criminals out of anybody under 21 who gets caught with pot - can you say mandatory jail time.

Under prop 19 if your in your house, and you have kids (or in my case my grand daughter is over) and you take a bong hit (even while the kids are asleep) then your a criminal.

leaving the local govt to decide if they will allow you to grow and then they can decide how much they want to charge (TAX) you for the privilege of growing a PLANT - FUCK THAT!

the possibility of LEO putting a 5 x 5 restriction on my already small garden - FUCK THAT

look bro its a bad law written by a bad person so that he can profit, you don't think that chicken shit bitch spent 2 mil of his own money to benefit the people of ca do you?

NORML is a group of lawyers. You really think they have our best interest in mind?

NORML. NATIONAL ORGANIZATION of RICH MARIJUANA LAWYERS.

and yes, i would happily wait another 30 years for a bill that isnt complete horseshit.

BTW, its more legal now in california then it will be if prop 19 passes. think about it moron.

It's a transfer of power. Right now the power is in the hands of the people and the community. Prop 19 strips all that power out of the hands of the people and delivers it all to the government. Its pure oppression. Its the stripping of an entire industry away from the sick and dying. This has nothing to do with the legalization of marijuana at all. This is an attempt at a strong arm take over utilizing the government as a hired gun to do the dirty work. All at the barrel of a gun. Fuck prop 19. It did not have to be written like that. Fuck the authors, they cry for war. This isn't about the legalization of marijuana this is about Wall st vs Main st.
yeah everybody is selfish who opposes this thats fuckin hilarious. And yeah people who fight for civil liberties and justice and freedom, well they're just selfish pricks aint they.

yeah and the woman who gets raped and the person who gets robbed? They didn't wanna give it up now did they? they were just being "selfish". What a fuckin retarded sense of reasoning, what a twisted psychology just a tool and a trick. Fuck that.

Voting No on this old, outdated proposition! This passing would create an absolute legal nightmare! The wording is NOT CLEAR, and there are WAY too many loopholes for law enforcement to weasel their way into the CONTROL part of this proposition! Just look at the wording: CONTROL & TAX! DUH!

I can appreciate this controversy between voting yes or no and definitely see your point of view on the matter... I honestly think whatever is going to happen is going to happen and we will all be fine regardless whether or not it passes IMHO...

MF--Do you not know what a "troll" is in internet lingo or are you trying to be intimidating by telling us you're a big guy? People all over are shaking at their keyboards. Arguing with people in support of something you refuse to read for yourself is definitely trolling.

I hope you at least read the Myth/Fact sections of that post. It was extremely informative and may help you understand why people are so emphatic about it not passing.

Where I lack in knowledge of some things u can help catch me up to speed... Where u lack I can help u... It's win win, I have experience managing large indoor gardens and have won the battle on pretty much any pest or disease your plants are susceptible too and have included my .02 in other threads... So where u lack in knowledge in a specific field I can help catch u up to speed while u help catch me up to speed where I might be lacking knowledge... I loose about 1 clone to every 100 I cut by fluke where u might be at 70% but u might be a big political buff... Or I don't know maybe u just like to talk... Anyhow what I'm trying to say is that I'm sure we all have our own specialties we can contribute to the comunity in a more constructive way...

I give up, and honestly vote however your favorite online grower tells you or vote no because you're jelous a better businessmen is gonna get rich off it and you ain't. Or because u seen a cute you tube video. Enjoy, I personally think voting no will be one of many backwards steps that will be taken in the future in CA. And don't kid yourselves legalization would be the worst thing for you prop 19 is a m80 that would be a 10 ton Hbomb and you all know you would vote no on that too. Peace good luck hope it all ends well.

Agree, I dont see much point in arguing with the no on 19 people. Anyone that thinks there is any way to legalize herb without big business profiting is out of their mind.

Im voting yes on 19, not because of what it will do for california, but what it will do for the country/world as a whole. Instead of thinking about your own situation and your own profits/greed, think about everyone that doesn't live in a med state, where having an oz can put you in jail for years..

Prop 19 is going to make the fed have to make some pretty serious choices regarding how they treat cannabis in california (more then just pretending they leave med users alone), and that is what is going to make me vote yes on 19.

hbstoner: what?! My not wanting to vote Prop 19 has NOTHING to do with trying to strike down big business. Did you read that myth/fact section?
I'm voting no because I don't want to be arrested if I smoke with my son in a different room of the house, asleep, with good ventilation. Prop 19 would allow that.
I'm voting no because I don't want to be told I can only go to 4 places in the whole city to get my meds.
I'm voting no because the 3 prescription holders in my house would now have to share a 5x5 space to grow in.
I'm voting no because the prop would allow my city (in OC, notorious for blocking things just because the have money and can--if you don't believe me, have you ever taken off from John Wayne Airport? It's a frightening ride because the people of Newport Beach have enough money to make the planes take off like that so the plane noise doesn't mar their precious real estate) to not have any dispensaries. As they already have, all of OC's cities would probably ban dispensaries and I'd have to drive to Long Beach or San Diego.
I'm voting no because having a prescription should be enough. I shouldn't have to prove that I've bought it from the limited dispensaries.
I'm voting no because I don't want some 21 year old kid who gives a 20 year old a joint to have to spend 6 months in jail.

I could go on. All of these things are in Prop 19 if you'd bother to read it or even the summaries of it. None of my reasons have anything to do with greed.

Then there's your who point about the feds making serious choices... what on earth gives you the impression that the feds will cower when faced with our little law. FEDERAL LAW TRUMPS STATE LAW. PERIOD. Obama's choosing to not prosecute medical cases is a boon to us. It's not something the people have enacted. The only thing that would change the federal government's ability to prosecute marijuana users is a change in FEDERAL law (or the administration of the law, which Obama has already done). Please, by all means, lobby for a federal law change. I would support you thoroughly, but having the state law contradict the federal one is only going to ensure that the feds feel the need to show CA who's boss. Again, it's them. Period.

So I guess not wanting to be arrested for smoking in the same house as my son because passing the law may encourage other states to ease up on prosecution of marijuana offenders IS selfish of me. Damn, I'm a bitch.

I don't see much point in arguing with people who refuse to take 5 minutes to read something.

Dude seriously, smoke a bowl. I wasn't even responding specifically to your post. I see your arguments, I just feel differently. How many times have you given a kid under 21 a beer? How many times have you bummed a smoke to a kid that might not have been old enough? Are you in prison for doing so? Ya prop 19 has flaws, I dont think i've heard anyone say its perfect. For the 90% of californians that dont have a med license , its a huge step forward. The fed will act on prop 19 in one way or the other, the fed acts on anything that has to do with drugs.

If you want to talk about prop 19 im fine with that, but if your just going to accuse everyone of "not reading" (the bill, your posts) then this is a waste of time. Because people dont agree with you doesn't mean they didn't read what you said.
